Vacation Rental Description
Sheltered in the cove formed by Spivey and Miller Mountains, surrounded by forest and serenaded by the stream that tumbles out of the mountain, Blueberry Hill Cabin is your retreat from the outside world. Named for the numerous wild blueberry plants that dot the hillside, the cabin sports a wood-burning fireplace, a large sitting porch with a view of the surrounding forest and mountains, and all the peace and quiet you can handle. Surprisingly, the heart of Asheville is only 10 miles from the front porch steps. You can take in all the activities the town has to offer and then escape back to the solitude of the mountains and relax in the indoor Hot Tub. Come and visit with us, you'll be glad that you did! This property does not have a telephone.

Fall Reunion in Mountains |

| Three sisters and a cousin get together each fall for 4 years now to revisit our "roots" in the TN/NC mountains. This cabin was delightfully decorated, well appointed and very comfortable. We could have used a swing on the porch in addition to the 2 rockers. It is close in but feels isolated. The view does not include any mountains but is pleasant. We should have read the 3-ring binder first thing! And a map or instructions to grocery stores, Walmart, and other basic needs would have been nice since we were not familiar with that area. Our past experience in Asheville was on the north side (Weaverville) so we ended up going back there to restaurants, etc. The antiques in the cabin were interesting and beautiful but not utilitary. We did have a nice, restful visit. |

| We enjoyed our week in the cabin very much. We were pleased how well stocked and home-like it was. It is a very relaxing place to stay, and our hosts were fabulous. We will look forward to returning in the future. |

Reconnect in this beautiful cabin |

The inside of the cabin was really nice, roomy and full of character (maybe a bit too much with roosters, teddy bears ect.)
They had many supplies available so you didn't have to spend a fortune at the grocery store.
Issues: The yard was very unkept with flower baskets close to death. We would also have appreciated some suggestions AND directions for places to go other then the main places. |

This is a wonderful cabin, perfect for a family of four or five. The cabin sits off the main highway and is tucked in the woods off a gravel road. It was clean and well-maintained. This was our first experience renting a cabin and I must say it was very positive. We enjoyed our stay!
I would recommend finding a different place if you are traveling with a trailer or on motorcylces. The driveway is steep and we had issues getting in and out on motorcycles. When returning one night we found that the gravel road had been grated and it made for a very dangerous ascent. |

| Very easy to secure the reservation. The hosts could not have been nicer. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and memorable. The cabin was wonderful, cozy, and had everything from hot tub to full kitchen. Very quiet surroundings. A nice mountain road to get there. Everything, from great restaurants, grocery shopping, ATM and more are nearby. Biltmore is less than 20 mins away. Downtown Asheville about 25 away. Cell phone coverage is good. We will definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in a retreat from the "world". |
