High Acres lives up to its name, providing wonderful views of the surrounding mountains in a beautifully landscaped setting, which is both peaceful and private. Mature flowering trees, a landscaped fish pond with waterfall, a fire pit, a romantic swing and children's playhouse are just a few of the unique touches which adorn this lovely property. The open living area is filled with light, a beautiful stone fireplace, wood beams and hardwood floors. The downstairs master bedroom suite offers both a shower and bathtub. The upstairs loft (with a futon for extra sleeping space) is adjacent to two additional bedrooms, has skylights and wonderful views. Relax on the deck or lower-level patio. You will enjoy the warmth of a wood burning fireplace for an relaxing evening. Enjoy DirectTV in both the living room and master bedroom. High Acres also has a game room downstairs with air hockey foosball, and a television set-up for watching movies. Hiking trails surround the property. If you are a bicyclist or motorcycle enthusiast, enjoy the great roads on Bearwallow Mountain and surrounding area. You will feel like you are away in your own private world, but you are only 25 minutes from Biltmore House, Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, Asheville, and other area attractions. *This property does not have a telephone.

| High Acres is a little piece of heaven. A beautiful property, meticulously maintained with wonderful views. Each morning of our stay, we rose at dawn to watch sunrise break through the misty clouds that hugged our mountain. We had unbroken views of several peaks...it was glorious. The country porch with its rockers was the perfect place to enjoy the natural display, in cozy blankets with a hot cup of tea. Rooms were comfy and the kitchen nicely supplied. Great bathroom and master bedroom. House is much larger than it looks. Fireplace, nice deck and great grounds with plenty to do. Short drive into Ashville and the Biltmore, which is what we came to enjoy. Great hosts! |

| We loved High Acres. The house was very comfortable and our stay was totally relaxing. The house is located quite conveniently to local attractions as well as restaurants, shopping, etc. We spent a great deal of time enjoying the view and quiet from the rockers on the front porch. We would have loved to stay an extra week. We thoroughly enjoyed the house! |

Everybody enjoyed the location and that it was pet friendly. Having a fenced in yard was great. The kitchen was well provided for cooking. The only negative issue was the lack of heat in the basement. Sleeping arrangements for 2 of the 10 available was in an unheated basement. It was chilly. The fireplace was really nice especially with a good supply of firewood.

| We really enjoyed High Acres. The location, views, landscaping were all just what we were looking for. The porches were perfect for sitting, grilling, and enjoying the view. We highly recommend the home. |

| High Acres is a very relaxing place for family get togethers. You don't need to go far to sight see. The beautiful view of the mountains, the porch and the sound of the fish pond make this place special all on its own. Children have no reason to be bored as there are many things available to them. |

| We spent a few days here over New Years and had a wonderful time! We were also able to bring our dog, which was a nice bonus. The house was very comfortable and was very well stocked. I was impressed. It was also nicely decorated for the holidays, which made us feel right at home. Incredible views from the front porch. I would definitely rent again. |

Wow, what an amazing time, I wish I was there right now. My entire family, including the dogs had a great time. The house was perfect and the grounds were even better. Ultimate privacy, relaxation and everything my wife and I needed to unwind. My favorite memory is sipping coffee on the front porch @ 8:00 a.m, I felt like I was alone in the world. We have recommended the property to all of our friends and co-workers and we will be back very soon.
My only regret was not letting my kids win at air-hockey, I was 61 and 0. |
