The main living areas offer a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, 3 TVs with a DVD and VCR, and a stereo system. The bottom level provides a full washer/dryer, and a garage for your use. Everything you need for an enjoyable vacation!
Sleeps 8-9. Upstairs master has 1 king size bed, plus a loft with 1 twin and 1 sleep sofa. Downstairs has a bedroom with 1 double, and another bedroom with 2 twins. A/C. Parking for 2 cars. Need four wheel drive in winter! NO SMOKING! NO PETS!

| We've rented Almost Heaven on four occassions. We love to stay here because it sits way above the lovely town of Blowing Rock on the top of Ski Mountain. The views are breathtaking especially watching the sun rise. The rooms are cozy and the sitting area is perfect for visiting with good friends while sipping a glass of wine and enjoying the gas fireplace. There is also a ping pong table downstairs which is great fun for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Very convenient to town and all the local attractions. But once your day is done it's a great place to go back to and feel like you're miles away from the hustle bustle. |

| This rental has been one our families favorite spots. The name, Almost Heaven, says it all. You feel like you are on top of the world. The house was very clean and had all the room we needed for our extended family. The loft above the den worked out perfect for the 2 granddaughters. At night you could see the lit ski resort could be seen, but it was far enough away where the noise could not be heard. What was most memorable was the fireworks on New Year's Eve that was seen from the deck of this lovely house. |
