This newly built log cabin [2005] is located off of Ski Mountain Rd. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms [sleeps 7], A Cool Breeze Chalet is just minutes to Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, and Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Our 4 car parking is right off a state maintained road for easy access. Covered front and back decks with gas grill. Kitchen, living, and dining in one room with a wood-burning fireplace, VCR, TV with satellite, wireless internet access, and a sectional sofa with sleeper. Fully equipped kitchen and 4 top dining table.
All beds have brand new mattresses and box springs! Two bedrooms on main floor: first with 1 twin bed and TV/VCR, second with 1 double bed. Master upstairs has one queen bed, a romantic electric fireplace, and TV with DVD player. Master bathroom has a whirlpool tub. NO SMOKING. Home has central heat and air. Pets permitted for a $60 fee. Home is not handicapped or elderly accessible due to stairs! If privacy is what you desire, no back yard neighbors, then A Cool Breeze Chalet will be just right for you!

My friend at Raleight recommended me the stay there.
It was a very pleaseant experience, the place is located at a prime area, very quiet and close to the nature.
The price is very reasonable and the service is good.
My family enjoyed the stay and liked the area very much.
I would recommend it to my friends.
The only inconvenience is that the cabin is not at street level, this makes it hard to carry luggage and groceries.

nice cabin but did not realize you had to walk down 3 flights of steps to get to the front door. we arrived after dark and the steps combined with all the outside lites were burned out, made it a little challenging.
the description says two bath but should say two bath tubs. no shower in master bedroom, only a tub.
i'm sure all of this was in the info but don't always read that stuff very carefully. maybe should do that next time.
i have rented many cabins through the years but never one with parking/steps arrangement like this one |

The stairs are defiantly addressed, and they are also in the online photos with the description. The stairs are lit, and we attempt to turn on exterior lights when we know a guest will be a late arrival. | This is the perfect home for a vacation stay. we loved the snow that is generated from the slopes, it's so close you can walk to the ski slope and tucked away nicely, but minutes from everything you would need to do. We will be staying here more. I wish I owned this cabin. Dog friendly is a big plus, very clean and well maintained. |
