Our stay in Blowing Rock was everything we had hoped it would
be. The apartment was extremely clean and well stocked. .
One thing that needed updating was the kitchen counters and
the bathrooms. Another problem we had was the fact that there
was no King size bed(or two twins for us) but we realize that
this might not be an issue for many other visitors. I feel that if
these improvements are made,my recommendation would be
given. |

| I have passed your comments on to the owners. I agree, a King bed would be a great plus. Unfortunately in the Royal Oaks Condos there just isn't enough room in the bedrroms for a king, a dresser, and a bed side table. We have tried. Thanks for your response. |

nice, but smoky |

| We staying in this unit the year before for a week, and decided to rent the same unit. In town Blowing Rock, three blocks from Main Street. Condos are basic but nice. Our unit was nicely furnished, and featured two full baths, two bedrooms, and air conditioning. We will probably stay in this property again, but we probably will not stay in this unit. We continually had a smoky smell in both bathrooms, and had to keep the bathroom doors closed so the bedrooms would not smell smoky. We suspect that it came from the occupant in the unit below this one. No cure for the smoky smell, so we probably won't be back. Too bad, we had some good times there. |
