Nature's Nest Vacation Cabin Imagine yourself sitting on the spacious wrap around deck taking in natures best as the sun rises and falls on this secluded cabin 8 miles NE of Nashville. Nature’s Nest sits on 10 acres of Brown Co. woods with nary a house in site. Our home is newly constructed from native woods and provides a rustic cabin feel with all the modern conveniences. You will immediately unwind as you set foot in our 2000 + sq ft home that is open and spacious. You will soon forget the cares of your other life. The primary floor has hardwood floors and opens into the living room with cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace . The adjoining open kitchen is fully equipped for culinary enthusiast. The master bedroom has a queen bed and with skylight for star gazing. Three doors off of the main level provide easy access to the wrap around deck for relaxing views of the countryside. A large loft overlooks the living room and boasts a king bed that provides a very a romantic setting for viewing the fireplace over the balcony. Perfect for the newlyweds, honeymooners or those who desire to rekindle those special times. All beds have log frames. Do you like to listen to music while relaxing? All rooms feature Bose speakers connected to a central receiver and CD player. Nature’s Nest also has central air and heat for your year round comfort. The lower level provides a quiet, spacious setting for taking a nap, watching TV or space for kids to play. A complete living area includes a large living room, bathroom and extra bedroom . All rooms are carpeted and the living room opens to the outside via a patio. Do you enjoy walking, biking and bird watching? There is plenty to do without leaving the property. The woods provide for peaceful hikes and the lower few acres include a barn and fenced pasture where you might see livestock. The roads of Brown Co provide some of the most scenic and challenging bicycling in the state. The popular Hilly Hundred in the fall takes in Brown Co., and the TRIRI bike tour takes in our very scenic state parks of Brown County and McCormick’s Creek. The roads leaving Nature’s Nest are relatively quiet, well paved and incredibly beautiful. Easy rides through the valley stretch for joyous miles. One does not have to go far, however, to find some rather serious hills. The more experienced cyclist will salivate. County and state roads can be dangerous and bike helmets and instruction is required. Whether you enjoy walking or cycling, the roads around Nature’s Nest provide endless opportunity for a work out. For those who enjoy off road biking, Brown County State Park has established trails that will quickly test your abilities. Nature’s Nest has a sizable yard in which to enjoy a variety of activities including badminton, croquet, horseshoes, etc. Do you know your trees? Come test your skills while walking the area.
