Lahaina Accomodations was very helpful in finding us a great home for our vacation. They were very helpful if we needed anything or had any questions during our stay.
Very nice beach front cottage. Nothing like walking out the door and down to the beach in the morning, afternoon or evening. The private pool is a major plus. Within easy walking distance to Publix, which was very convenient. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and living area very open and spacious.
Only shortcomings were the Master Bedroom had a bidet, but no stand up shower. The other two bedrooms are rather small and share a bathroom with a pretty small shower. The leather seating area in the living room was more comfortable for sleeping rather than sitting.
We would definitely consider this home again. |

Bliss Cottage is everything you could imagine and more! With 4 adults and two young children (a 10 month old and a 3-1/2 year old), the house was exactly what we were looking for with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The house is absolutely beautful, impeccably clean and does not lack for anything that you could possibly need. The location (mid-island) is perfect, and to walk out your back door right onto sand or to take a dip in your own pool was paradise!
We saw dolphins swimming from our balcony the first day and the sunsets were breathtaking! We will definitely tell all of our friends about Bliss Cottage and look forward to staying again next year! |

Bliss Cottage was great and the scenery was breathtaking. We had a small wedding in the backyard by the beach and it was picture perfect. The house was just as described, more than enough room for two couples. The only thing we didn't know until we asked ahead of time is that he house is on stilts and the pool area is small. But it was perfect for the four of us. We had a cook out under the house during a storm after the wedding :) We also saw dolphins playing almost everyday. It was great being able to just get up and walk out the door to your own private beach. There wasnt a lot of people on the beach the whole week we were there so it seemed even more secluded...:) The master bed was great...some of the best nights sleep we've had in a while (great mattress!) I don't have anything that I didn't like about the house. The location was very close to everything, however FMB is a very small town and there's not much to do unless you go inland. But we were looking to just get away, get married, be lazy and enjoy some beautiful sunsets and that is what we got!! We will definitely rent again....hopefully sooner than later!
As for the service of Lahaina Island Accomodations, they were very pleasant during check in and check out, never had any problems to report. This is by far, in our opinion, the best house on Fort Myers Beach! We can't wait to return! |

| Very nice, clean, spacious home right on the beach. Staying at Bliss cottage is like staying at your own home. We had 8 people staying there. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Grandpa on the foldout couch, son $ daughter-in-law in one bedroom, duaghter and son-in-law in 2nd bed room, 12 & 13 year old girls in the 3rd bedroom and the eight year old girl sleeping on an air mattress. Location was great. right on the beach, close to shopping areas and a Publix grocery store 1/2 block away. I was please with the accomidations and location We stayed one week and we all had a good time. There is a lot fun things to do in Fort Myers Beach. |

We have rented Bliss Cottage 3 times and each time we could not have been happier. The house is immaculate; the views are marvelous; the pool perfect and the sunsets are breathtaking. We will rent Bliss Cottage again next year - hopefully for 2 weeks.
Lahaina Real Estate, Stefani in particular was great to deal with and upon leaving this year found out the owner/broker is originally from a small town 10 miles from our home in PA. The proximity of Bliss Cottage to everything is great. You can eat, shop, etc. and not even use your car.

| Family of 8 stayed for 1 week and overall had a great vacation. The kids loved the private pool, The ladies loved the beach and 2nd story deck. The house was great except for the A.C. At 4:00pm on any hot June day it would not go below 80. The management had all kinds of excuses but if I pay over $3,000 I want the AC to work. I do not recommend this house for a family with children under 3 or anyone that has problems with lots of stairs. There is a concrete sea wall just out of the picture in front of the house that lots of people like to setup their beach camp under the shade of the palm trees. Lots of people walk by the house and stare and take pictures because it is the best house on the beach. House had lots of towels and just about everything you will need.The sunsets were unbelivable and the locals we found very friendly. Publix supermarket across the street was great and all emergency services were close just in case. Overall It was great and we would stay again. The Lahaina staff were friendly and helpful. |

Beautiful house in good location right on the ocean.The only down side for us was the A/C as the lowest we could get was 76 degrees which for us brits was too hot.
We were greeted most mornings by dophins really close to the shore and very often we saw stingrays floating past us while we were in the sea.
Brilliant location for Publix supermarket just over the road, Malls and Snookbright Marina where we hired a boat from for the day. |

We just spent a week at the Bliss Cottage and had a wonderful time. It is a wonderful vacation home. It is truly on the beach!! Step out the door and you are there. Our two children and their families joined us and we had a great time. The grandkids spent the week finding shells and other 'treasures' and we brought back one tote bag of sea shells. We saw dolphins, stingrays, starfish, sea urchins and many other fish which was exciting to all of us. My son-in-law said it was the best vacation ever. I think every one of us had a great time.
The house was perfectly setup for three families. It was even better than I expected. I knew it had a small heated pool but I didn't think we would use it being on the beach. It turned out with three small children, ages 8 mos. to 6 years, we really enjoyed the pool. The kids could get into the water and play better than in the gulf.
The bedrooms are on the small side but we spent so little time in the bedrooms, it was not a problem. The living area is big and the kitchen and table is nice and big so everyone can hang out together. The balcony is big and a nice place to sit and enjoy the sunset.
Great place and we will definitely go back again.

We stayed for one week at Bliss Cottage in FOrt Myers Fl and it was truely a dream vacation ! It had absolutely everything you could imagine! The huge deck was perfect after a day in the sun and the private yard area was great for the whole family.

Perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2
babies. We loved the beach front area with palm trees so some could be in shade
and some in sun. Pool is small but very
convenient ocean front. The eat in kitchen was perfect for our large group. The table is wonderful and the porch overlooking the ocean was great for eating during the day. Perfect. |

Six adults, infant and toddler had a great time. We live on a Florida Barrier Island and know beach living.
We would rent again. Best looking home on this beach. Supermarket across street.
Folks walking along the beach would stop and look at the house, talk to us, take pictures. One couple even called rental agent while they stood looking at the property. |

We stayed at the Bliss Cottage for 1 week in July 07. We all had a great time and got some much needed relaxation.
The pool was great, nice and warm.
We have 2 girls, age 7 and 18 months, and they had a great time. We would definitely recommend staying here.
There are quite a few stairs, so be prepared to walk up and down quite a bit, other than that, everything was great!

The home is very lovely, people were stopping by and admiring it everyday and taking pictures.
However, travellers may note that the bedrooms and showers are very small, but fortunately, your vacation is not spent in bedrooms or bathrooms, hopefully. Also be aware that there is only a tub in the master and hand held shower, some people may find this not to their taste.
The fact that you get one roll of toilet paper, (for a two week stay) no soap, no paper towel, no dish soap, no garbage bags, no aluminium foil, basic items normally supplied, is surprising given the cost of the rental. When questioned about this, Lynn at Lahaina said "people stole everything if they supplied them", to which I responded, "what kind of people were they renting to?" They really should change this policy just as a courtesy.
That aside, we had a great stay, just remember to bring tons of bug spray, the insects are mercilless and you will get bitten if outside at dark. |

This was our best vacation in a very long time!! We stayed a week at the Bliss Cottage in June 2008, there were 2 families (4adults, 4teenagers). This house exceeded all of our expectations! It had everything we needed for a peaceful week in Ft. Myers. We have rented houses before but never anything of this caliber for the price.
The location is perfect, the house is amazing, with more than enough room for our 8 people, the sunsets were spectacular from the deck and we saw dolphins every single day! I would return to Bliss Cottage in a HEARTBEAT.

I have been vacationing on Ft Myers beach for 30 years. I have alway stayed in a condo midbeach, but with my family of 5, the two bedroom units typical of the estero blvd are now too small.
Bliss cottage was the perfect mix of delux accomodations with casual relaxation.
My three girls (ages 8, 6 and 5) would get up in the morning swim in the private pool as I made breakfast and watched them from the porch.
From then on the day would be spent between the beach, pool and visiting friends a short walk down the beach.
During the week we were there, 4 different groups of people stopped by (as they were walking or driving by) to ask our opinion of the place.
Our response was: "Bliss cottage is an extra special place in an extra special town." |
