| One of the nicest houses we have rented. Nicely furnished & a beautiful setting. Little Pigeon river directly behind the house. Plenty of firewood. Could use a new toaster. Would highly recommend. |

| We loved the cabin. It was peaceful and very quiet. The staff called to check to make sure everything was okay. We loved the pool table and the view was awesome. We are planning on staying there next year. |

| The cabin has beautiful views of the Little Pigeon River. The sound of the river is so relaxing. The kitchen is open to the living areas with a huge wall of windows overlooking the river. It was very convenient to Gatlinburg but not too close - we did not have to get in the traffic to move around to the places we wanted to go. We probably will rent this one again. |

Had fabulous R&R |

| This workacholic Engineer from Huntsville, Al was in desperate need of a retreat and the cabin certainly provided the needed R&R. The residents for the week were three sister, their five kids (3 boys and 2 girls), and two dogs. The three boys hung out downstairs in the gameroom, the two girls upstairs in the loft, and the three sisters had peaceful visits on the main level. The lay out of the cabin was perfect for our crew. We even closed off the stairs on the main level deck so that the dogs could hang out on the deck when they needed their own space. The dogs and the kids enjoyed splashing in the river. Only a couple of issues: bathroom and bedroom locks do not work and these kids do not believe in knocking. No inside broom for the kitchen; found one on back porch that was to dirty to use inside. The hottub should be on the main level deck and is too small. |

| Thank you for your comments. We are glad to hear you had a good time with your family. We appreciate the feedback on the locks and the broom, we will look into those items. Thanks again! |

| This was a beautiful home with all the amenities. The location was exactly as described and the service and help from the Jackson Mountain Home agents was excellent. The house was very clean and the rooms were large. There were many stairway steps, in case you have a problem in that area. We have no reason not to return to the Jackson Home properties. Thanks for a great stay. |

babbling brook. Would like to come back in warmer weather. |

| The property was wonderful. I loved this house. It was my second time to Gatlinburg. Last time, we stay in a community with a pool and "view". I preferred being on the river. My kids and dog loved being on the river too. We could play, swim, fish, etc. I recommend this house. |

| We loved staying at Amazing River Retreat. We went mid November & our only complaint was it was too cold to enjoy the property like we wanted. Plan to go back and stay again when the weather is warmer. |

Fun for children and fishermen |

| This was a perfect Spring Break weekend for our family. The river was right out the back door - although the water was chilly, it did not stop the children from wading and playing. The house was relatively secluded - neighbors on each side but it did not feel as if you were surrounded. It is on a dead end street without traffic. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. The rental agency was friendly and helpful and not far from the cabin. Close to Gatlinburg, but out of the crowds with plenty of nature surrounding the cabin. |

| We rented this cabin for our wedding weekend. We got married right in the yard by the river! It was very lovely and just our style. We are a blended family with 5 kids, and there was plenty of room and fun things for them to do with out ever leaving the property. We also got a massage on the deck overlooking the river, which was REALLY nice. We plan to return sometime this year. |

The property was a wonderful house, very easy to stay in.
There were only a couple of negatives. There was still jam (or something else sticky) on the kitchen counter when we arrived, but that was an easy fix, we just wiped it down.
The only other thing was the fireplace, yes there was wood outside to use, but nothing to help light it, no starters, kindling or matches or lighter.
We purchased a lighter and left it there so hopefully another family would be able to have a nice fire.
I thought that it was a bit odd, seeing as everything said to make sure that there was plenty of firewood etc in case you were unable to get out etc, although I doubt that would have been a problem where we were, but if it had been we would not have been able to light the fire.
Apart from this we enjoyed the house and the weekend that we spent there. |

Easy River Access - Fun for Kids |
Reviewed by: Donna from Miami, FL

| The property is very comfortable, and the yard is great because it has a relatively flat area that goes out to a brook, and you cross the brook into a small wooded area, then about 25 feet there lies the Little Pigeon River. Great area for tubing, as the kids love to do that. It's not deep, but deep enough to ride the tube down. slightly up river is a bit deeper, and the slow river effect while on the tube. The surroundings are great for exploring. There was a bear there early one morning...and a racoon. Lots of wildlife, to be expected. The cabin is very comfortable. The access is on the bottom level so there is alot of climbing up and down stairs. The main living area and kitchen are on the 2nd floor. The master bedroom is the loft, which is huge, and big closet area, but provides no privacy. Open to the 2nd floor. Master bedroom should be enclosed. The jacuzzi was never hot enough, but it was bad. For the most part, it was a great place to stay. |

| If you are looking for a great river rental this is it. My young boys had a fantastic time playing in the water, fishing, skipping rocks and getting wet. The spillway in front of the cabin is easy to cross onto a good size island to play on. Location is easy to get to with easy access to both G'burg and P.Forge. Little Pigeon will lull you to sleep. We will stay here again. |
