We had a very nice time in Autumn Ridge. The only thing that I would say would be nice to have since we do not have someone who comes daily to fill up things, to give more paper towels, towels, a dust pan to sweep on all the lady bugs. It was very nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back for sure!
Thank you! |

My husband, Bill, and I stayed at the Autumn Ridge cabin in Gatlinburg in October 2009. The cabin was wonderful, although a tad too warm to enjoy the fire places. It was clean, easy to locate, and had amazing views. We plan on staying there again on our next trip to Gatlinburg. Thanks for a memorable vacation.

| Home was situated perfectly on the ridge to enjoy the mountain views and the city of Gatlinburg below. We were able to access all of the Smoky Mtn. activities and scenery easily from this location. The log home will afford you two comfortable decks to sit and relax after a day of hiking and biking. Services from Jackson Mountain Homes was courteous and quick to resolve an air conditioning problem after hours. |

This was our second stay at Autumn Ridge and was the occasion of our 25th
anniversary. We first visited this beautiful cabin 5 years ago for our 20th
anniversary. The home is very clean, cozy and relaxing. The interior, with its
cathedral ceiling, gives you the open air feel that you want in this location.
The jacuzzi for 2 is marvelous after those hikes in the mountains and the view
from either balcony is breath taking.
My only request would be some type of grill on the deck. Although, fighting off
a friendly raccoon wanting to share our dinner was a unexpected treat.
Rocking chairs on the bedroom deck would also be a wonderful addition.
Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. |

Great cabin with a great view. Well maintained. Maybe the best cabin for the view of the mountains.
A great vacation any time of the year although the road to get there is challenging.
The only two things missing were bear and utensil. We had hoped to see some bear. The kitchen is missing many much needed utensils. |

| Thank you for your comments. Bears are exciting to see - sometimes they are everywhere and other times they just hide! :) We have the cabin owner assess the kitchen for untensils - thanks for for letting us know! We hope to see you again soon! |

| Our stay at Autumn Ridge was amazing. It is secluded, cozy, clean, has great amenities (hot tub on patio, jetted pool, pool table, fireplaces, etc.), it has an extraordinary view of the mountains and sunset, and it is conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It is secluded and serene for nature lovers and others who enjoy peace and quiet. It is also close to a variety of things to do in the area for enjoyment and fun. I would highly recommend this cabin for couples on their honeymoons and celebrating anniversaries. |

From the moment I saw it online, I knew that Autumn Ridge would be a
great place for my wife and I to get away for a few days. I booked it online
and a representative from Jackson Mountain Homes called me the very next
day to verify the online reservation and answer questions. From the
moment we arrived in Gatlinburg to the moment we left, we felt absolutely
at ease. The check-in was very simple and the staff was great. The cabin is
nearly a mile and a half up the mountain road (rather steep and narrow at
times) but it was not difficult to find.
The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful and was well prepared for the
week. The owners of the cabin and Jackson Mountain Homes have done a
wonderful job maintaining this home. It was very clean and very
welcoming. Every night when we returned to the cabin, we felt totally at
ease and relaxed. There was a binder of material left for guests that details
many, many ideas for getting out and about both inside the town of
Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains National park. It came in handy more
than once and helped us plan out daily events.
We stayed in this home for almost a week and did not want to go home!
Thank you to Jackson Mountain Homes for making our getaway a very
enjoyable one! We would definitely work with that company again. |

We loved Autumn Ridge. It did not disappoint us! It was clean and well
maintained. The setting was beautiful and private. It was stocked with extras
that we didn't expect. We had trouble with the two TV's our first day and the
service person came right out and fixed them. Great service!
Some people thought the drive up the mountain was a minus but we thought
it was a plus. We loved every twist and turn. We saw bears and wild turkeys
on the drive up too. We loved it and would love to return to the Smokey
Mountains again in the future. We will most surely stay with Jackson Mountain
Homes again! |

Short distance from restaurants and shops in Gatlinburg. The road to the cabin is a little treacherous - just have to take it slow. Directions from Jackson Mountain Homes were spot on. We definitely would recommend this location and plan to stay in the area again. |

The staff was friendly and had everything ready for us when we arrived. They give you lots of coupons for attractions and food. Read the notebooks they have in the cabin, that other guests have written in. They give you info about the area. One thing...don't try to turn around in the drivway unless you have a little car. Try backing in instead. Carol B. |

| The road to get to the property is a paved one lane goat trail but it is well worth the drive. The view is spectacular, especially when appreciated from the hot tub. We also enjoyed seeing either a bear or wild turkeys in the woods every day. Furthermore, it is very quiet and private. We did not see or hear another car the entire time. We have stayed in many places in Gatlinburg over the years and Autumn Ridge is one of the best. |

| We have stayed at Jackson Mountain Homes before so we expected to find a nice cabin - clean - comfortable and fun - and we were not disappointed. Autumn Ridge is a beautiful cabin - and sitting on the porch looking out over the mountain is a breathtaking experience. However, the drive to the cabin is also breathtaking - and gut wrenching! We found ourselves hanging around Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge until later in the evening because we knew once we faced the drive up the side of the mountain we wouldn't come back down until morning. I wish this had been a little better advertised that the access road to the cabin was very steep and became 1-way. |

We are return customers to Jackson Mountain Rentals. Our first time was our Honey Moon where we stayed at the Dove's Nest. Since then we have retured every other year on our anniversary. We don't even consider renting from anyone but Jackson Mountain - because they are the absolute "BEST"!
We highly recommend Autumn Ridge and Dove's Nest as a romantic getaway. They are both secluded for privacy yet close to all the excitment and events of Gatlinburg. We actually saw our first bear which was absolutely wonderful. The cabins are always spotless clean and ready for us upon arrival. The staff is friendly, informative, and always available, yet, the give us the privacy we want.
Always a wonderful stay and we highly recommend Jackson Mountain Rentals. |

| We spent the weekend in one of the Cabins in Gatlinburg, TN. It was wonderful and well worth the money we spent. The Cabin slept 6 comfortably and the kids loved the pool table. The thing I enjoyed most was the view of the mountains and how peaceful it was at night. The only complaint I had was how narrow the road up the mountain was. We drove a Sequoia, SUV and it took up the whole road, if another vehicle was on the opposite side of the road we would have had to back down the mountain. In all I would recommend this vacation home to anyone, I loved it! |

We chose this particular cabin based on the writeup that it had a view, pool table, hot tub and fireplace. It was exactly what we were looking for in a cabin. It had an outstanding view, was very clean and had great privacy (unlike some cabins that were almost on top of one another). The road narrows as you go up the mountain to the cabin so the drive may not be ideal for the squemish! The driveway is also a little tricky to manuever out of.
The only complaint we had was that the gas fireplaces only stayed lit for 30 minutes (on a timer)and we almost froze in the master bedroom and had to move up to the main floor and use the sofa sleeper the second night. (It was extremely cold outside that weekend, though.)
We would definitely return to this cabin but more importantly, we will certainly use JMH again. The people were excellent to work with and very knowledgeable of their properties. Check-in and check-out were simple, they gave detailed directions on how to get right to the cabin and even called us to make sure we arrived and had everything we needed.
I recommend this property highly if you want seclusion and a great mountain view. |
