We arrived at the Jackson Mountain Homes office around 3:30 and were given keys and directions to our cabin immediately. The office called our cabin the next morning to make sure all was fine.
Cozy Bear Lodge is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are spotless and have everything one could need. The location is secluded yet minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.
We would highly recommend Cozy Bear Lodge. Our only complaint: No bears came to visit. |

| This lodge is beautiful. It's just what you're looking for in a mountain retreat. It's name describes it perfectly. It is cozy, spacious, private and affordable. Six ladies and four mini weenie dogs had tons of room to spare (including bathroom space!). The living room is perfect for evening girl talk and the hot tub is huge and welcoming after a day of hiking. The three decks are great for morning views of the Smoky Mtns as the sun rose. Not to mention the many bear sightings...very cool! I didn't expect the alarm system, but it was a nice comfort to those of us who worry about safety while away from home. The kitchen was small, so maneuvering around each other to make dinner and drinks was quite clumsy. I literally couldn't turn around without bumping into someone or something. Unlike many other rental homes I've stayed in, Cozy Bear Lodge didn't have any staples in the cupboards (like sugar, spices, salt/pepper, etc) and this was a surprise. As a whole, I highly recommend this lodge and Jackson Mountain Homes. Customer service is 5 star. Check-in was <5 minutes and check out was as simple as making a phone call. I'd absolutely stay here again. |

Spacious Home with a great view |

We have stayed in a couple of places in Gatlinburg and this was, by far, the most spacious. The 3 king size beds were great. The view was beautiful!
My only complaint is that there wasn't any cabinet space for our groceries in the kitchen. Other than that it was great! |

| The views were wonderful even though the trees had not began to turn yet it was still beautiful. Very nicely decorated and would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for the mountain feel but also VERY close to downtown Gatlinburg. We will be returning as our schedule permits especially since it is pet friendly. We also had a bear that would visit each morning between 9:00 and 10:00 so have your camera ready for pictures... |

| My family and I stayed at Cozy Bear Lodge Aug. 21st - 23rd. The cabin was just as described and the area was beautiful. We had room for 3 families and found the Jackson Mountain staff very friendly and helpful. |

Great cabin with lots of space and amenities. My teenagers loved having their
own master suites with tvs and bathrooms at the end of the day. Wouldn't
recommend the configuration for a single family with small children... the kids
seem a little far away. It also has a terrific sound system, so bring your music!
The hot tub was really nice too.
Location is convenient...not far from a real grocery store and close enough to
downtown and the National Park entrance. The road up to the cabin is very
narrow and winding but you get used to it after a couple of trips.
Cabin is very pretty inside and has a beautiful view of the sun rising over the
mountain in the morning. Only wished the windows were a little cleaner to
enhance the view. We kept looking for bears and finally saw one on the last
day! We would definitely to back to visit again. |

My family and I had a great time while staying at the Cozy Bear Lodge. It's just as what is pictured in the photos on the web site. Plenty of room. Decorated well. It truly felt like home while we were there. We even had a bear come to visit us during our stay which made it seem magical.
We would definitely stay at Cozy Bear when/if we find ourselves visiting Gatlinburg, TN again.

| We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Bear Lodge. It was the perfect fit for the teenage boys that crashed in the lower level with the game room but allowed enough playroom for the younger kids that came along as well. All three bedrooms are located so each have their own privacy and balcony. Easy access from downtown Gatlinburg but out enough that we say bear on the property each day of our stay! |

| The Cozy Bear Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. A+ for large families. Very clean and beautifully decorated. This cabin has all you'll need for your vacation, just bring groceries and your suitcase! Lots to do inside this cabin. Although you'd never know it by the quiet atmosphere out on the decks, you are very close to downtown Gatlinburg. (3 min.)Thanks Cozy Bear, for another wonderful trip to the Smokies!!! |

This cabin is close to downtown. We could quickly get to where we wanted to go.
This cabin has the cleanest hot tub. Plenty of hot water for everyone in our group to take showers and wash towels, without the water getting cold.
We loved the fact that two medium sized bears and a cub came between this cabin and the one beside it. They were just passing through the wooded area and we were taking pictures from the deck. We even stepped outside and they didn't pay us any attention.
Had lots of separate space for three couples plus kids. |

| We had a fantastic time in the "Cozy Bear"! We celebrated my son's third birthday there, and the the lady who helpd me make our reservations was fantastic at recommending a bakery and grocery store. While there we had a great time, the cabin was beautiful, and very cozy. Our son liked it so much he is still asking to go back to the "Cozy Bear" for another birthday. The cabins locations is fantastically located to downtown Gatlinburg, you can be to the aquarium and most shops in just a matter of minutes. My family and I had a great time staying at the cabin and will most certainly be back. |

Our favorite vacation spot! |

We absolutely love the Cozy Bear lodge. We got married here in
January 2005 right in front of the fireplace. The cabin was large
enough for our close family to stay with us and everyone still had
privacy. It is just a couple blocks from the center of Gatlinburg and
everything is right there. I have visited Gatlinburg during many
summers since I was a child, and had never stayed in a cabin, and
it was like a dream vacation. We had planned to come back for our
5 year anniversary, but didn't make it - we came back after 3 and
enjoyed it just as much the second time. This time, we even got to
see bears and watch them from the living room windows. This
cabin is perfect if you have kids because they can have their own
area on the bottom floor which includes a bedroom, bath, and
gameroom with 2 sofa beds. And then the main floor has a
bedroom and full bath, and then the top floor has the same (3
levels). Everyone can come and get their own space/floor. It's a
wonderful place to stay. We will be back to Cozy Bear, hopefully
several times in the future! |

| VERY nice clean cabin...we loved staying here. The only HUGE disadvantage was the late check-in (3 pm) and early check-out times (10 or 11 am). Some other cabins allow for early check ins (we have checked in as early as 10 am) and late check outs (3 pm!!!) so you really get your money's worth! |

We just wanted to let you know that the 3pm check in time is pretty standard in our industry to allow plenty of time to clean and inspect the cabin. However, if the cabin is ready earlier, we are absolutely happy to check our guests in early. Next time you are visiting, just give us a call the day before you are arriving to see if we can allow an early check in. However, if the previous guest checks out the same day you arrive, we don't have that flexibility. Thanks again and we look forward to your next visit! |
