An Awesome Place and Rental Agency |

This was our second time renting Hillside Splendour. It is a beautiful cabin
with outstanding views. We like the location and would highly recommend it
to friends and family. The hot tub on the deck provides great evening
relaxation, the pool table in the loft was great fun for our girls. Jackson
Mountain Homes rental agency was very accommodating and friendly, easy to
work with. The house is clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. |

Moths everywhere |

| Upton arriving at the cabin we smelled gas and called the office, they sent a technician who was very nice was was able to fix the gas leak from the fireplace. We weren't able to stay in the cabin until then because of the smell. The cabin also seemed to have large moth problem. They were everywhere. The view wasn't much, would of liked a better one. |

| This was my sixth time staying with Jackson Mountain. They are the only company I use when coming to the Smokies. This cabin had an awesome view, was very comfortable, and super clean!!! This cabin is a bit further out, but the view is worth it. We liked being back in the arts and craft community away from the hustle and bustle of downtain. |

| I would recommend Jackson Mountain Home to anyone wishing to stay in the Gatlinburg area. In fact, we talked about having more of the family join us and considered renting a larger home. It would not be this year. The view was breathtaking. We were at least one to two weeks early for the changing of the colors. The home was exactly as pictured on the Internet. The people who checked us in were extremely pleasant and helpful. Directions to the home were great. We had no problem finding it. The home itself was very homey and lived in. If I had one complaint, it would have been the mattresses on the beds. The fog, rain and humidity left a little to be desired but, we have no control over the weather conditions. It did not stop us from doing what we wanted to do. There is plenty to see and do in the Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge area. We did not even make a dent in the attractions. All the more reason to come back. |

| We had a great stay at hillside splendor. the house was wonderful and the view was even better. beds were comfortable and the house was great to come back to after a day at the national park. the only issues we had were with the hot tub which only 1 of the jets appeared to be working properly. still it was a great place to hang out in to soak as the sun went down. |

A Very Relaxing Week |

| Very nice cabin, clean and well kept. View was good for the summer. I think the view would be even better in the fall or winter (less leaves to block the view). We loved the outside deck and the hot tube. The only real negative things was that the sound carried from 1st. to 2nd. floor alot. TV sound or talking carried to the other floor. Also this cabin has dish network, but the channel choices could have been more. |

Enjoyed staying 4 nights in the Hillside Splendor cabin with extended family while on vacation.
Company called the morning after our first stay to ensure that everything was ok with the cabin etc. Very friendly and we had an issue with the jets in the hot tub and the hot tub lock that they fixed immediately. Appreciated the note that they left us after doing the work so we knew they had been there.
The location is great, although a climb into the mountains there were very few cabins around and none obstructing our mountain view. Lots of trees etc. around the cabin so we didn't see anyone else from our balcony and it was very quiet at night.
Very well represented from the pictures and the description online. Felt like a great value and would stay there again (although probably not in the winter unless we had an SUV or chains on our tires :)). |

Sometimes previous guests will turn jets off for personal comfort and they just need to be adjusted to come back on. Also, this particular cabin is not considered to be difficult to access during the winter. We certainly hope that you will visit again soon! |

| We enjoyed our stay at Hillside Splendor. The cabin was neat and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was small but clean. We appreciated the fact that this cabin accommodated large pets. The view of the mountains from the cabin porch was spectacular, and the night sky was filled with stars. The only negative on this house is that it's pretty far off the beaten path making multiple coming and goings in a day less desirable. However, I guess you could say that that is a trade off for the beautiful views and magnificant night sky. |

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was just the right size for us and nicely decorated. Lovely mountain views.
The only things that we noticed that weren't the best was the fact that you can hear everything all over the cabin and I personally would love to have had some cookware that was stainless steel as the non-stick ones are toxic to use especially so when they are peeling as were the ones there. |

| We enjoyed the cabin. The view was worth it! It was around other cabins, but very quiet. The home was well taken care of. Everything was clean. The hot tube was not working corrctly. Half of the jets were not working. I even asked about it at check in and was told the hot tube was working correctly. The location was nice close to everything with privacy though. I would rent this cabin again. Our family really enjoyed it. |

| We are sorry about the hot tub. Many times, the jets are simply closed off by other guests. They simply need to be turned back on at the ring around each jet. That was the case with your hot tub. |

| The views of the mountains were amazing. We wanted a place that was quiet and serene as well as nestled in the mountains and Hillside Splendour was just that! The home was beautiful and full of amenities. I would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone! |

We spent several days of Spring Break at this cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very comfortably appointed with everything you need for a home away from home.
We really enjoyed the pool table, the charcoal grill and the hot tub. And we were so happy that they allow pets so that our family dog could join us.
I would definitely recommend this property and we would consider staying here again on a return trip to the Smokies. |

Secluded, Quiet Getaway |

We found the cabin to be in excellent shape and very clean. We were excited about the remote location and was glad it was closer to Gatlinburg then Pigeon Forge. We separtated our time watching movies on the flat screen, playing pool, using the hot tub and rocking on the deck enjoying the mountain view.
The hot tub was nice, but two power jets were not working. This was not much of an inconvenience, however, and was hardly noticed.
Other cabins were in sight, but we rarely heard noise from them except for a couple of dogs barking during the day. Night-time was absolutely quiet with even little outside wooded noises. Our small poodle loved the experience as well and we were glad she was with us.
Be prepared for the twenty-five minute drive each day into Gatlinburg, but the roads taken were each different from the previous, so it was not boring. It was also nice to be close to the craft store driving tour, which made the location more quaint.
Being closer to Galinburg made our location more accessable to the National Park. The flyfishing was absolutely beautiful, but not too productive. I think it was the angler, not the lack of trout though...a nice brown was caught, which made the trip a success.
We couldn't have been happier with our cabin selection and have recommended Hillside Splendour to our relatives in Missouri who want to bring their kids from Nashville on an extended weekend trip.
God-willing, my wife, ten-year-old daughter, poodle pup and I will be back to enjoy this wonderful mountian cabin experience again soon! |

| We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The location was perfect, and the cabin was spotless. It had everything that we could need/want for an enjoyable vacation. The only thing lacking was a jacuzzi tub indoors in addition to the hot tub outside, but it was still a fabulous cabin. I love that this cabin is pet friendly, so that our whole family could enjoy it! The personnel at Jackson Mountain Homes were excellent - very friendly and helpful. We will definitely rent from this company again and have recommended it to several of our friends! I can't wait to go back! |

My wife and I stayed at Hillside Splendour for our honeymoon last
August, and it was great! Everything was very clean, and the view was
amazing. The furniture and layout was very welcoming, from the
leather couch and chair to the open kitchen and lovely dining area. It
was hard to believe that we were only 10 minutes from downtown
Gatlinburg ... it seemed as though we were all alone in the beautiful
mountains. This property is a great place for anyone wanting to get
away for a while and relax in the midst of the beautiful Smoky
Mountains. |

| The cabin was remote and while you could see other cabins they were in the distance and not at all in the breathtaking view off the back porch. A straight drop into the woods and snow capped mountains in the distance, a amazing view. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for 10 years and this was one of the nicer cabins we have stayed in. Being pet friendly was very nice as we go nowhere without are dog, Vinny. The cabin was clean, furniture was a bit worn, but not too bad. Our one problem that took away from our relax time, was the hottub, which barely moved water. We had to make mutiple calls and had people out to look at it. It never really worked properly, one of the worst hottubs I have used, it was frustating and something I dont think we should have had to deal with. They gave us a small discount, but really when your on vacation you shouldnt have to deal with that, I understand things do happen, but the discount given wasnt worth my time lost, let alone the hottub not being very enjoyable. Overall loved it, if they get the hottub fixed its a magically cabin and I would highly recommend. Greg, Linda, and Vinny. |

| We enjoyed renting this home very much! It was so nice to grill outside, play chess and pool with the kids, wash our own clothes and soak in the hot tub. (All of these things provided with the rental.) Once we figured out the local roads, it was a fifteen minute drive into town and within a half hour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. One recommendation we have is to arrive before dark for easier check-in. We arrived around midnight and so the navigation was difficult this late at night. We had one small cleaning issue when we arrived but when we called the next morning, a repairman was at the home within the hour and took care of everything. Very friendly staff-we would probably only rent from this company again because of the service. Enjoy!! |
