Great stay as usual. My wife and I have stayed at this property for the last 5 years with our Twins who are now 4 yrs old and have had lots of fun inside and outside the home. The pool provided hours of fun for our family, the beach access is very close and the local attractions are close. This home has everything a family could want and also plenty of room for multiple families to enjoy each others company and also provides plenty of privacy for all. The staff at Resort Realty was very pleasant and helpful when I checked in and I really liked the fact that we didn't have to stop and "check out" when our week was over. Liked the way the home was decorated and had plenty of cookware. We like the location between MP 15 and 17. What I liked best about the home was the screened in porch and pool. We had a fabulous experience in a meticulous home, well decorated, with everyones needs attended to, including the children. The home was located near the beach entrance, local restaurants and stores. The pool was fantastic and the kids loved the changing colors at night. We loved sitting on the deck at night watching the waves and the people. We could have used a better grill and glass topped coffee tables and kids don't mix. We enjoyed this home immensely. There was plenty of room for both of our four person families. The short walk to the beach was easy and the view from the front porch was incredible. AND we loved the pool. We would definitely rent this home again. More...

This review sounds somewhat negative, but we did have a good time--we just want the owners to be aware of some minor things they could do to go a long way in making a difference.

The first day there was no AC upstairs, but the mgt. co fixed it right away. Day 2 it went out again, and they fixed it again. But then days 3, 4, and 5, the same thing happened to the lower level system. So we really only had a fully cooled house for the last two days! And it made next to impossible to get a good night's sleep. I would recommend getting another HVAC company, b/c those things should have been fixed more quickly.

We loved being able to walk to the beach, and see the beach from the decks. We also loved being able to walk to 7-11, Sam & Omie's, the ice cream place, etc etc. Very convenient location, and although adjacent to a main road, it still felt private.

The hot tub was awesome. The pool heater thermostat did not work, so it was either ON or OFF. And I had to monkey up on this shelf to turn it on or off, instead of being able to set a temperature. Since we went at the end of May, it was ON. One day it got the pool up to 100 degrees! Also, the pool area had a glass table that was missing its top, and the pool was not cleaned once during our stay, which by day 3 made for a nice bug collection on the bottom of it.

The decor/fixtures could have used some updating, particularly the aged/stained linoleum in the bathrooms. It would cost $50 to put in new floors, and it would make a ton of difference. And if you're getting 1-2K a week, PLEASE spring for new toilet seats! They were rusted and bubbled on the underside. What is that to replace, $15? They seriously looked 10 years old.

For the price, size, amenities, and proximity to the beach, overall though it was a good value. It just could have used some attention to detail & a little better management. More...
