My Family, sister's family, and parents stayed a week here
and had a great time. The house was very accomodating, the
four bathrooms/bedrooms were great. We used the outdoor
dining table as an extra area for eating which was perfect.
The sofa bed needs to be replaced. It was saggy. Otherwise
nicely furnished, somewhat dated, but comfortable . We
pushed the twin beds together in one of the rooms upstairs
and put king sheets on it. BTW, we did not realize that none
of the beds would be made and we had to buy sheets and
towels once we got there. We have rented many vacation
homes and we have never had to specify that the beds should
be made!!
Also, you are only allowed to use the pool in your particular
area which we found very annoying. The homes in this area
apparently do not qualify for the waterpark pool which we did
not understand prior to renting. You have a pool in your area,
but that is the only one you are supposed to use. Litchfield
is a nice resort. We rode bikes and rented a golf cart and it
was lovely, but the pool situation is a problem. They should
have a beach pool for everyone to use. |

| We have rented 109 Rookery for three years and plan to return in 2009. It is a beautiful beach home and has just recently been redecorated. The kitchen had new appliances and had all the handy tools needed for cooking. The view is outstanding from the top deck. There is a very short trek to the beach. We had three families, complete with 5 children, staying at this house. Obviously we love it because we keep returning! The owners of this house really take care of it. |
