| This house was so big & so cute; well laid out for large groups. Decor is wonderful; beds & sofas very comfortable; dining area was a plus on the back porch so that everyone could sit together for meals. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Anchor. The North Litchfield location is perfect and quiet--the house backs up to Huntington Beach State Park. From the end of the driveway, it's an easy half-block stroll to direct beach access over the dunes walkway. The beach in front of Huntington State Park is wide and spacious--not too crowded at all, and the residential/non-commercial nature of North Litchfield makes for a pleasant place to walk or ride bicycles. The accommodations are comfortable and pleasant. The layout is perfect for individuals, families, or couples. There is a wonderful den/sunroom/dining room at the back of the house and great covered parking and storage (with laundry) beneath. I would definitely rent this home again. |

Great Beach Getaway |

This is the first time we rented a beach house for a month and the experience was the ultimate. We were able to bring our miniature poodle along with us to the Blue Anchor and the 3 of us were delighted to be there. Each day we made the short trek to the beach. The advertisement said 1 1/2 blocks to the beach but honestly it felt much closer than a block to the sand. The house is fully equipped so we lacked nothing. The kitchen had all the latest in cookware and accessories which made meal preparation a breeze. The locale is perfect with easy access to shopping, great restaurants and beautiful golf courses which my husband took full advantage of.
We were so pleased renting from the Dieter Company. Any issue that needed attention was immediately handled. A great company to rent from and the Blue Anchor is the perfect family getaway to the beach. |

| This was our first vacation ever with our dog, & we all had a great time. The house has lots of comfortable spaces, indoors & out--screened porch, back porch, big open main living area, etc. The furniture was comfortable but homey--we didn't have to get hysterical when the dog sat on the couch. Very easy walk to the beach, short drive to fun shopping, easy check-in & out. We had a couple of jellyfish encounters, & I suggest taking a small bottle of vinegar to the beach with you, just in case, since there are no lifeguards to fix you up. We definitely would go back. |

The house was beautiful and the neighborhood is delightful. Very quiet, close enough to the beach that it wasn't a bother to get all your stuff down there for the day.
It is also close enough to the crap that is downtown Myrtle Beach that we could take the kids up there but still come back to peace and relaxation.
My only gripe would be I wish the floors had been cleaner or there was a broom available. Also with four bedrooms, the couch close to the TV should not be a loveseat. We were a little cramped but maybe that just gave us time to get close for the week! |
