This charming beach cottage offers 5 bedrooms (3 main floor, 2 ground level with interior staircase to downstairs) and 3 baths (2 main, 1 downstairs). Bed sizes: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 doubles, and 1 single. Amenities include: 2 cable TVs, 2 VCRs, DVD. Large sun porch, deck, and gazebo on ocean side, enclosed outside shower, wet bar with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, and central AC/heat.Daily local newspaper furnished. No pets. No Smoking. Linens not included. Capacity: 10 Please note, top floor bedroom is not available to guests.

| We visited Pawley's Island 10 years ago and decided it was time to make a return trip. We were joined by our neighbors and couldn't have asked for a better location - beachfront house on the north end of the island. The house had all the comforts of home and exuded good old southern charm. The layout of this rental was ideal - we had enough space for seating 10 people at the kitchen table plus another table for nightly games of cards and trivia as well as a living room and screened in porch that provided common areas to read and socialize. Everyone had a place to get away and read, watch TV, eat, relax and sleep. Traveling with 5 college aged young people made the layout of this house even more important as everyone had a favorite nook. The lower level, outside shower was a big hit with everyone especially coming in from the beach after an afternoon of fishing and swimming. The bustle of Hwy. 17 was a memory once we crossed over the north or south causeway to the island. So peaceful. For a family that likes to cook and eat-in, it was a short drive to Georgetown or Murrells Inlet to get fresh fish for dinner. We took full advantage of the farmer's market on Hwy. 17 to get our daily dose of fresh produce. We will definitely book this house again on our next visit to Pawley's Island. The vacation bonus for us was that we took beautiful beach and boardwalk photos of our daughter and future son-in-law for their engagement announcement in our local paper. Staying at Pawleys in the Beachouse was a 5-star vacation destination in our travel guide! |

| The Beachouse is very comfy and family friendly, yet is nicely decorated as well. The large kitchen has been a great gathering place, over the years, for family get togethers and celebrations. There is plenty of spillover room on the enclosed porch, outside deck as well as the gazebo and boardwalk seating areas.The extended boardwalk is wonderful for toting beach gear daily.The North end of Pawleys has large pools for young and old to enjoy at low tide and Litchfield can be accessed easily then too. Every summer, we continue to look forward to relaxing and fun vacations at the Beachouse. |
