We normally go on a Family Beach trip to TopSail Island in NC and are accustom to having very nice accomidations. We decided to go to Litchfield at Pawleys Island this year and were not sure what to expect. We rented Summertime Retreat because it was pet friendly and a new home. We also wanted to rent from the Dieter Company because my Husband has used the Dieter Co. on winter golf trips. We had a great experience with the Dieter Company and the entire staff! The Summertime Retreat had just about every detail covered in the home. We had everything we needed. We liked the fact that they encluded all linens and the beds were very compfortable. The layout and floor plan of the home was perfect and very roomy. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front proch rocking chairs and afternoon naps on the screened-in back porch. The walk to the beach is not bad and what a bonus to have the outdoor pool with the hot tub. The owners did a get job decorating the interior and made you feel right at home. We plan to return! This was our first time to rent through Dieter Company. They were fabulous and the home we rented was perfect. All the accomodations were super and fit our family needs. I would recommend them and Summertime home to anyone. Can't wait to go back! More...

We spent a couple of days over Christmas at Summertime Retreat and had a great time.

Everything was clean and in order when we arrived.

We would definitely recommend this house to anyone...especially a large family with children. This floor plan can accommodate a large family or several different families.

Overall I was happy with the rental unit. However, I stayed in a 6 or so bedroom house and only I and my wife used the rental house. The owner of the Dieter Co. charged me for linens in all the bedrooms and when I complained all he did was reduce the price to half of the bedrooms. I will be using another rental company from this point forward. I am in business as well and keeping customers is more important than squeezing money out of them especially when it is absolutely something that they SHOULD NOT be charged for.
