The kitchen is modest in size however functions with the best of them in order to satisfy your food prep needs, while the patio outside supports the BBQ Grill to round out the cook's wants and needs. There is 1 air conditioned bedroom offering comfort for 2 in a queen size bed where the second bedroom offers 2 twins. Then there is the newly constructed Loft which features a queen size futon sleeper and room for 2 more. If your family or your spouse is looking a place for you all to relax in basic comfort, this is it. It's Pet Friendly too! This "modern rustic" chalet just awaits your enjoyment. We (my husband and two friends) rented the cottage for a weekend in the White Mountains. The house is spacious and cosy, large enough for four. Overall, it was tidy and well equipped, although i guess the many 'austrian' artifacts around will make it difficult to clean the place thoroughly. It didn't bother us, we very much liked the location as it was quiet and peaceful, and we could have a private breakfast on the deck in the morning. Also, the entrance to the Franconia Notch Park is really close, but the highway itself is a few miles away so you won't be bothered by lots of traffic.
Overall, we would recommend this place for couples, friends or families. The only minor issue is the village of Mittersill itself, which is a fake Austrian town-i would rather have american style surroundings as after all, that's where we are! However, this of course does not affect the comfort of the house itself. |
