Great stay except... |

The house was great and clean on the inside. The pool area was dirtier than I would have expected, particularly with green marks around the edges. Even my kids commented on it.
The only major problem was the gas tank for the grill was empty when we went to cook some steaks. It should be checked between every stay and we had to delay dinner for an hour to find a place that would refill. It also cost $23 that we should have not had to pay. |

Nice House, Too Crowded Area!!! |

Overall the house was nice...good layout for alot of people! There were issues
as follows:
-the outside grounds and pool was in awful condition. Trash around the
grounds included empty beer bottles and dirty diapers. A lot of black mold
and/or dirt was around the pool and apron of the pool. On furniture as well so
we were reluctant to use unless we put down towels! Drainage around pool was
awful with regards to the outside shower.
-Dishwasher had a problem!!!
-Carpets needed cleaning!
-We did not like the location as it was way toooooooo close to the Marriott
and all it's congestion!
We have rented quite a few homes from you and have always received good
service.

This house was great for our large family. The house was close to the beach, which we liked. This was the fourth time that we rented a near ocean house in Palmetto Dunes.
My main complaint with this house was that the temperature upstairs in the two bedrooms and also in the wing off the kitchen was never consistent. It was either too hot or freezing. Also the lighting in the bathrooms was rather inadequate and there were not enough towel bars to hang our towels. |

easy access to beach! |

This is a very nice property. It is perfect for families with children. Very
short stroll to the beach(good for kids running back and forth!). There
were enough private areas in the house that you could escape to if
you needed. The kitchen had everything you could possible need. The
furniture is looking a little worn and could be refurbished(especially
for the rental price). What wasn't so great-- the house definitely had a
bug problem. We are frequent visitors to H.H., so we are used to some
palmetto bugs, but to find them on the upstairs beds were a bit
much!!! The bugs also made themselves at home in the kitchen as
well. Overall, if they get the bug issue under control and freshen up
the place it would be worth what they charge to rent the house. The
outside area of the house is very nice. Private backyard with gas grill
and plenty of chairs and a great screened porch. |

| I have stayed at several homes through the years on the Island and this has to be the best. The house offers privacy when you want it and great accommodations for times when the whole group wants to mingle together. Definitely recommend this home. |

The house was in a great location. Easy walk to the beach, right on the bike path. The
house layout was great and worked perfect for
our parents 50th Anniv. family of 10 gathering. The inside was very clean and neat. The outside needs some help that does
not effect the renter but the homeowners my have problems down the road if they don't attend to them. Then it could make the house undesirable if not taken care of. The lawn and pool care services did a great job as did
the maid service. It is listed as a gourmet kitchen which it is in design but they don't have in the pots, pans and cooking utensils to back it up thou. Overall if our families could afford to rent again this year we would all choose this house again with no hesitation at all. |

Our stay at 14 Mooring Buoy was one of the best trips we have ever made to the island in 20 years. The home was spectacular and the service at Island Getaway was stellar. The home gave us ever imaginable amentity and we felt like royalty during our stay. We look forward to our next visit to the island...
