| We went down to Tybee for a week long family vacation. The house was fabulous! Everything we needed was there and more. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed riding bikes and walking all over the island. The house we rented was just a block over from the beach and we walked over a couple of times a day to watch the sunrise and sunset. Mermaid Cottages is a great company! Thanks so much! See you next year!! We can't wait!! |

| Not only were we given a cottage that totally met our needs but even requests of arriving early and leaving late on departure date were met by offering another cottage at the same price. Barbara and Diane were the best. I would highly recommend staying with Memaid Cottages. The cottage was clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Thank you Memaid Cottages for a wonderful time. Without the house the trip would have been incomplete. We spent hours just sitting and talking in the comfortable rocking chairs and yet had enough space for individual privacy when needed. |

I treated my dad to an 80th birthday celebration by taking my parents, my
brother, my husband, and my two children to Tybee Island for the week. I
discovered this service through a link on one of my favorite author's
website. The service, communication, and billing information was
wonderfully organized. The house was better than we imagined. In fact,
several in our party kept making comments the whole week about how
wonderful the house was and that they couldn't believe how nice it was, etc.
I liked how there were several outside areas to sit and relax. I was
expecting the three bedrooms to be tiny due to the time the house was
built, but they were actually quite roomy. All of us commented on having
the televisions in each room, although we really didn't get a chance to
watch much of it. We were basically 1 1/2 blocks or so from the beach, but
it really wasn't very far. These are not big city blocks by any means! Two
neat things my children, ages 6 and 9, like so much about the cottage were
all the cool yard art and sculptures in the yard as well as all the mermaids
in and around the house. We had a wonderful experience and will certainly
use Mermaid Cottages again! |

| We love Tybee, this was our second trip in two years. We stayed in another Mermaid Cottage last year. This year we brought more members of our family, so we needed more space. We chose A Mermaid's Tale. The cottage itself was very clean and nice on the inside. The outside backyard wasn't as maintained as the pictures lead us to believe. We did have some troubles with the hall bath. The shower drained very slow (it made it very difficult to shower in), the toilet back up. We called and reported it the next morning and we were told someone would be out that day. We never heard from anyone the rest of the stay. We just didn't use the bathroom the rest of the stay! Overall we had a nice time, and will use Mermaid Cottages again, but will stay at another location. |

The accomodations were perfect and we held the perfect celebration, a Low Country Boil after the SCAD graduation ceremonies. It was an occasion we will never forget. We rented A Mermaids Tale, Under the Tybee Sun and Sea Glass. All 3 homes are absolutley lovely down to the small details!
This was a beach vacation we had planned for over 6 months so when the weather was not so great...having 3 fabu homes to hang in saved the trip!Thank Heavens!
Diane is the ultimate! She tolerated tons of questions and gave us some great direction on where to go and what to do.

| I spent my 30th Birthday weekend at A Mermaids Tail with 7 of my closest friends, and it was just wonderful! We had plenty of room at the cottage and it was just the cutest place I have ever seen! We could not believe how wondefully decorated it was! The inside and outside gathering areas at the cottage were very spacious and having 3 full bathrooms was wonderful! Tybee Island was beautiful and we are already planning our trip for next year! The staff at Mermaid Cottages were ver friendly and accomodating, and I had an overall Wondeful, 5 star experience! | Mermaid's Tale is such a homey and relaxing place to stay. We highly recommend it for couples and families; especially ones with dogs. We spent a lot of time here relaxing, we rented bikes and tooled around the island always returning to relax and refresh. |

The house was great. Our party spent a week in the Mermaid's Tale and it received high marks from everyone. The house was great, it has a wonderful location, but what impressed us most was everything that was in the house. We have rented houses before and never been so impressed with the amenities to us. Additionally, everyone associated with Mermaid's Cottages was excellent and made the stay worry free.

The amenities were great...from the flat-screen TV and the grill to the fully stocked kitchen. This place will not disappoint....with the exception that you'll wish you stayed longer. Great Location for two families |

We loved staying at The Mermaid's Tale cottage the week after Christmas. It appears small from its outer appearance but is quite roomy inside. The cottage is very clean and has an upscale decor. We liked the change from the "shabby chic" type decorated cottages we've stayed in before. Our friends and their teenage son stayed with us and there was plenty of room. The two kingsize master suites were perfect and the teenager enjoyed having his own queen size bed. Plus, there was yet another small room that could've been used for younger children if needed. And the best part, there were 3 full bathrooms so everyone had their own private bathroom.
The kitchen and dining areas were large and well appointed.
The only downside to our visit was on the first day the water had a strong sulfur smell, although there was no bad taste. There had been a lot of rain and the cottage had not been used for several weeks so we felt the problem was water build up in the pipes. After that first day of water usage everything seemed fine.
The cottage is located several streets across from the beach but a comfortable distance to walk. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and hope to have a return visit in the near future. |

| This is our second stay with Mermaid Cottages and our first stay at A Mermaid's Tale. Tybee Island has become our family meeting place since we're scattered (GA, VA. WA, IL) and our first choice is always a Mermaid Property. The cottages are beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and nicely appointed. We felt at home and were able to relax, catch up and enjoy one-another's company. Add to that that our Thanksgiving meal was catered by The Lady & Sons and it's obvious what a perfect stay we had at a Mermaid's Tale. We'll be back! |

My husband, I, our daughters and their families stayed in this house and Nora's cottage next door. It was a great arrangement for all of us. The Mermaid Cottage is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is chock full of pots, pans and every gadget one can imagine needing to cook while on vacation.
The dining room was furnished with placemats and cloth napkins and the table easily sat the whole gang.
The only thing I would suggest is that the yard be fenced in. The back and part of the sides are already, so it wouldn't take much to accomplish. I would have liked to relax out there with my dog. It would also be good for parents with a child.
When they say the only thing you need to bring are your clothes and personal items it is the truth. We will definitely go back again.

| This cottage was both amazing inside and out. We walked in to a clean comfortable open floor plan home which was great for family fun. There is a TV in ever bedroom so no one has to fight over channels. 2 large master bedrooms with private baths and still 2 more bedrooms provided lots of sleeping room. The location was great for everything within the island. Renting bikes is a must for just a nice cruise in the evening and some cocktails to go. Morning coffee in the private backyard was a great way to start the day. We really enjoyed our time and will definatley go back. |

The house is within easy walking distance to the beach too. We really enjoyed it, and will rent again if we ever stay at Tybee again.
