| Right from the start our Mermaid Cottage experience was delightful. We chose Savannah as the location for our honeymoon but we wanted to stay by the beach. After many phone calls to other places we spoke to Diane Kaufman of Mermaid Vacation Rentals. We told her what we were looking for and she gave us a few suggestions. We chose Canty's cottage and loved it. It is complete: full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach chairs, bicycles. It is spotless and cozy. Diane stopped by to check in and gave us some great ideas of what to do and see and where to eat. She is a great ambassador for Tybee Island. We will be back. |

| As usual, Mermaid Cottages took very good care of all details. Canty's Cottage is all we needed as a couple with our two dogs. It has a nice fenced yard, great sunsets, and lots of daytime sun. Since it was cool this year, we spent much time on the patio/porch area reading and relaxing. It is very clean and the owner lives on the island if you have any questions. Not far from town and AJ's Dockside. |

The cottage was great, very clean and roomy for the five of us. Only has one
bath but two showers. The place is not very fancy but it had everything needed
for a nice weekend. The staff called several times to ensure we were
comfortable, The location is very good, about five blocks to the beach but not
close to main streets and noise. A beach wagon would have been very helpful.
We would definitely stay there again |

Canty's Cottage was absolutely wonderful. I went with my best friend of 40 years for a "Girls' Getaway", and Canty's Cottage was perfect! As soon as we pulled up to the cottage, we were immediately happy!
The cottage is welcoming and homey. It was stocked by former tenants with what we called "little love offerings." Things like: spices and seasonings in the pantry, wine, toiletries, books, DVDs, etc. We left a bottle of wine, other spices, and candles too.
We were especially grateful for the assistance of Mermaid Cottages' computer and tech guru, Michael. He was SO helpful and went above-and-beyond the call of duty to help us solve a problem we were having with Wi-Fi. He helped us with the DVD player and gave us suggestions about restaurants and other business on Tybee Island.
Canty's Cottage is a SPECIAL place! I'm planning on going back.
P.S. Mermaid Cottages is the best organization to work with. Diane Kaufman was so friendly and accommodating. This was a WONDERFUL experience.

Wonderful Thanksgiving |

We arrived on the quiet Thanksgiving Holiday to the delightful Canty
Cottage. All was perfectly in order! It being a holiday weekend, no
store was open but the cottage had all we needed to cook up a
Thanksgiving Feast moments after arriving!
Tim delivered perfect beach bikes the next morning in time for us to
peddle to the tip of the north end to see the birds roosting and back
for a late breakfast at the Breakfast Club.
Canty cottage was perfectly located and stocked with all needs. The
garden and patio beautiful and quiet snuggled in between marsh and
beach. A great TV room for the one rainy night and a cozy living room
for a relaxing novel read.
All just lovely - Thank you and we can not wait to visit again.

Very pleased with home and how well stocked it was. It was nice having all the extra space for our group of 5. We also had a utility room to wash clothes. We lacked for nothing.
Tybee was just a neat experience. We'd like to go back in the summer. |

| We had a wonderful stay at Mermaid Cottages in Tybee Island, GA. The house was warm and inviting. The theme of the decorations truly made us feel at the beach during our whole stay. The house was clean and neatly organized. We had a wonderful time, and will return if ever in the area again. |

| This was our first time to Tybee Island and the cottage rental. We found the cottage to be nice, clean, pleasant, but would definitely require two full baths the next time we stay. The dog park had evidently been moved farther away than advertised, so that did not work out for us. Loved the closeness to the beach, AJ's, shopping and the pier!! |

We went to Tybee Island to celebrate my mother-n-law's 60th birthday and we had a wonderful time. She loves fishing and the cottage was in a pefect location to go fishing either on the pier or on the intercostal.
The cottage is actually nicer than the pictures. The porch was our favorite spot in the mornings to catch the coastal breeze. The cottage is supplied with everything, just bring your clothes.
I definitely recommend this cottage - especially if you're bringing kids and want to spend a lot of your vacation at the beach. I gave it four stars because it only has one bathroom with a toilet. It was a bit of a hassel in the mornings with five adults, but overall it's an awesome place! |

Canty's is a must. Location great, 2 mins from back river/beach, from here you can walk all the way round to the main beach when the tide is out, you can take a kayak lesson here too. 10 mins walk through sub to seafront/beach. Cottage location very quiet, sunsets beautiful. 4th July fireworks the best. About a 20 min drive into Savannah. The owner even stopped by to see us and make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommended Canty's to anybody looking for a relaxed comfortable rental and can't wait to visit again.

| We were very happy with the Cottage. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed (linens, pots, pans, laundry facility, etc) We enjoyed the tiki hut and the outdoor seating as well as the TV room for the kids. It was a reasonable walk to the beach (we carried all our beach gear in a wagon) and loved walking through the neighborhood. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Canty's Cottage. The house was very cute and well-appointed with everything we could have wanted. It is also very reasonably priced for what you get, and it's in a good location, within walking distance of one of the sparsely populated, calm-water beaches (where kayak excursions take off from). We had one tiny concern - water starting coming from the back of the fridge - that we called the owner about, and she could not have been nicer or more friendly. It turned out to be nothing (there had been a power outage a few days earlier) and the fridge still kept things cold. One very minor note was that the A/C didn't keep the house very cool - we turned on fans a lot, but we weren't very bothered by it. It was summer, after all. We felt very much at home in the cottage, and would definitely stay there again (or in another of Mermaid Cottages' rentals). |

| My family and I stayed at Canty's Cottage for a week and it was wonderful! The cottage was equipped with everything we needed except food. The cottage was neat and clean, and located close enough to restaurants, markets, and public beach access to walk. You would, however have to drive to get to the IGA there on the island. Over all we had a GREAT experience and will be using Mermaid Cottages in the future!!! |
