| The Crabby Pirate is OK for the price. We wanted a cheap but pleasant place to stay and it sufficed. As all we did was sleep there it was fine. It’s not a luxury cottage but it works. It was clean and provided a roof over our heads. |

A Cosy Little Cottage |

We stayed at the Crabby Pirate over Labor Day weekend and lucked out with a spell cool evenings and no absolutely mosquitoes.
A cosy little place with a great back yard facing the marshes. It was quiet and clean, the kitchen was well equipped and it is pleasantly decorated in a folksy manner. The directions provided were excellent. In our opinion this location is the best- away from the crowded and commercial lower part of the Island. By all means check out the Light House Beach.
This was our first visit to Tybee and we plan to come back. |

I can say the Crabby Pirate was nice. The location as far as from the beach was a little further than I wanted but the ladies I spoke to over the phone were extremely nice! I Loved the peace and qiet there.

| The Crabby Pirate is in a great location close to the lighthouse, mid beach which is less crowded than down by the pier, and picturesque marsh right in the backyard. The sunsets were incredible. The neighborhood was peaceful and the home was adorable. Even with 3 kids and 2 dogs, we never felt crowded. We love the decor and the home had everything we needed. |

| We had a great time staying at the Crabby Pirate. We walked to the beach and lounged around breaking from school and work. We were close to the city of Savahanna to visit and go into the city for dinner. It was great to come "home" at night and relax on the island. Thanks for such an unspoiled island. |

| We had a great time on the island. As always, the cottage was spotless and very homey. Even for a house that was pet friendly you would never know that pets were there. Mermaid cottages does an excellent job with these cottages and if you love Tybee Island these are the cottages to stay. Oh and I forgot to mention the price is always right. Thanks for the great home and we will see you again soon. |

| The cottage was quiet and comfortable, away from the tourists. Birding from the backyard was wonderful. There was a view of the lighthouse from the outdoor seats by the marsh. The wind kept the bugs off and the house was decorated beautifully. All Mermaid Cottages are kept extra clean, and this one was no exception. The price was great too! |

This little cottage was just adorable! The decorating was darling & so homey! It was the 1st time we'd traveled with our dog, Misha (2 1/2 yr old chocolate lab, so we weren't sure what to expect.
She felt right at home & loved having the yard to run around in.
We only stayed 2 nights, but would like to come again to fully enjoy these accommodations. The only thing we could suggest would be a screened in porch. The setting was so pretty, but the bugs were alive & well.We had a great time though! |

| We had a wonderful time getting away from the snow & ice at home. The Crabby Pirate was absolutely perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the "beach feel" in the decorating. We had everything we needed with the exception of two items and both of the items were promptly delivered. We enjoyed our stay enough that we are in the process of reserving it for 2010. I would not hesitate to give the Crabby Pirate five stars. |

This is a cozy little cottage with a
surprising amount of sleeping room. Based
on its location we had planned to walk to
the beach...but found it much easier to
drive with children, chairs, umbrellas,
etc. The air-conditioning is cool--but
loud, so we used the light fans at night.
Also, the showers don't have that great of
pressure, but we were clean and happy to
be in a location that allowed us quick
access to all the amenities of Tybee and
Savannah. |

It was comfortable, the appliances and furnishings were perfect, and the neighborhood appeared to be very safe. I will stay in one of the cottages against during m next visit. |

| The best thing about our vacation was the Crabby Pirate. It was clean, very cute and comfortable. It had easy access for my elderly mother. We enjoyed coming back to the cottage every night after spending the day either in Savannah, at the beach, or other places on the island. I would definitely come again. |
