This quirky vacation apartment features the entire ground level with a private entrance. The very large fenced back yard is for your private use and great for children and dogs to play. Pet friendly- ideal for pets and kids! Good Times is next door to Under the Tybee Sun and across the street from Nora's Cottage and A Mermaid Tale. 2 blocks to the beach and 4 blocks to the large children's playground located at Memorial Park. 7th Street beach ( your closest beach) is very family friendly and a 5 minute walk. The home features expanded cable and complimentary long distance calls anywhere in the US.

| When my husband and I arrived at Good Times. I was shocked. It didn't look like the pictures it was smaller than I thought. HOWEVER, after one day there we LOVED it. Enter through the kitchen, it gives you a much better veiw of the apartment. It is perfect for a couple who is lookign for an escape. I would not reccomend it for families. I have stayed at mermaid cottages several times and I would never go anywhere else. I love Diane and her staff they also go the extra mile to make your trip special. |

With in walking distance to the beach and to the main pier. Had so much fun on my
vacation and loved the relaxing in the private yard. |

| I found this apartment very misrepresented online. The rooms are very chopped up and uncomfortabe. The window air units and fans didn't function well, the multiple steps in the interior rooms, the 2nd bedroom was accessed thru the master bedroom, the entrance to the apt. was thru the master bedroom, etc. etc. It was disappointing, to say the least. |

| I'm sorry you found our website to be misleading. We are very clear that this is a "quirky" Tybee apartment. We price this home to be extremely affordable because this is a vacation apartment. The location is outstanding, there is lots of room both inside and outside and you can't find a pet friendly home this affordable on Tybee. We have worked on the AC units and they do cool just fine now. Please note to all future Good Times potential guests- if you're looking for a more traditional vacation home, this is NOT the place for you. This home is for a small family or couple of friends ( or a single) looking for a very affordable comfortable place to stay very close to the beach. |

We went to Savannah for a tour of SCAD. Our son hopes to go to college there in the fall of 2010. our daughter wanted to go to the beach. So, Tybee Island was the perfect spot.
We stayed in The Good Times Apartment. We felt as like we were coming home each night. It was that comfortable. Everything we needed was there.
The bunk room was a little small & even though it was't hot, it would be much cooler if you installed roating wall fans around the cottage.
If our son attends SCAD we will be coming back to Tybee Island. One of Chase's friends will be going to SCAD this fall. We told his parents they had to stay with you guys when he makes the big move.
Thank you for a great vacation. Hope to visit with you again very soon.

| Me, my husband, our 24 year old daughter and her dog came for the weekend. We really enjoyed our time at Good Times - would like to have stayed longer. Very cute, good backyard for dogs to run around in. Outdoor shower is awesome. We have been coming to Tybee Island for years but always stayed in a condo or motel. This was some much better, glad I found your cottages. |

The cottage is quaint, very clean and very well equipped for cooking, grilling, etc. Walking distance to beach is very manageable.
The bunk beds are really only suitable for children and are located in close proximity to the noise of the window unit AC in the adjacent room. Not a good sleeping arrangement after a long drive to get there. The sofa bed is minimally adequate, as most sofa beds tend to be. Very uncomfortable.
Noise from rain on the roof of the sunroom is deafening at times, making watching TV a challenge.
The owner is one of the nicest I've encountered and offered to put us up in another cottage. We were settled, and my daughter, who has a painful medical condition, had a good bed to sleep in, so we declined. This cottage would work well for an adult couple who can share a bed and small children.

| We loved this adorable apartment- decorated in a very fun style. Had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking and cleaning. The backyard was fenced in which was great for the dogs. The walk to the beach was very close and the bike trail was a fun ride. The only thing we can complain about is that the dog park that is advertised as being a few blocks away has closed. We brought our 2 labs with us planning on taking them to the park to run so they would be tired for the afternoon while we spent some time on the beach. |

| I'm sorry, the Bark Parks have been moved to the North End of the Island. We'll have all that info posted in the cottage info books as well as the mermaidcottages.com website. The Bark Parks are going to incredible when they're all finished. They are up and running now, but when everything is done, they will be THE social gathering spot on Tybee for both dogs and their humans!!! |

| My two boys, two dogs and I stayed at the Good Times vacation rental. It was decorated brightly and felt comfortable. It was very close to the beach. How great to be able to walk to the ocean! It was also clean ...walked around barefoot....won't do that in a lot of hotels! We also felt safe there and did not have to deal with loud people around it. If helped us have a relaxing vacation. |

| The place was clean and met all our needs. Showers (both) were hot and powerful. No bugs. The pictures on the website make it look much bigger than it was. The bunk beds were a little rickety and wobbled when the person turned over, and the room they were in was so narrow you could practically spread your arms and reach across it. The picture of this room is especially deceiving. But all in all, the place was clean and adequate to meet our needs. Loved the cheerful artwork and hand painted things. Marlin Monroe's and the place to eat right on the beach at the north beach by the lighthouse were great. |

This is a great place for a couple and maybe one or two children. It is dog-friendly,clean and close to everything. The TV room is bright and cheery with a nice pull-out sofa. There is a small bedroom with an even smaller bedroom with bunk beds next to that. It is not meant for two couples. We had a great time on this wonderful island. The neighbors are very friendly, it is a great place to bike, many fine and reasonable priced restaurants. We were very close to the beach.Everything is a bike ride away.
There are room air conditioners, which at times did not put out enough cool air in the middle of the day (but shouldn't you be at the beach anyway?). But everything else was very nice. The outside shower worked very well as an extra wash area. |

| We are a family of 4 and had a BLAST at Good Times. We also had 2 furry friends along who enjoyed the large fenced in yard. The kids loved the bunkbeds and we all loved the decor. Very, very fun place to stay. We had such a good time playing ping-pong when we were not on the beach. The playhouse was great for the kids and thanks for letting us use the beach-cart. We are already planning our next stay at Good Times!! |

| We stayed at the Mermaid Cottage known as Good Times. It was close to everything including the gorgeous beach. It was perfect for 4 people, a baby, and two dogs. It was a nice neighborhood to take walks in the morning and evenings and we rented bikes and rode around the island. Great shops and places to eat! The rental was clean and had everything including beach chairs and toys for the baby on the beach! So cute, I would definitely recommend! |
