Vacation Rental Description
Completely restored 1940's cottage with high ceilings, claw footed bath tubs and shower, hardwood floors and large sunny windows. Large screened porch, completely fenced in yard, corner lot with lots of space for playing. Parking for 4 cars and boat. Complimentary High speed wired internet and wifi . 2 blocks to Alley 3 kayak launch area, 2 blocks to AJ's Dockside Restaurant , 5 block walk to the beach and The Breakfast Club. Great street for bike riding- located on Chatham Ave. Pet Friendly- multiple pets welcome! Beach cart provided. Back yard also features an outdoor sink to clean fish!

| This was an absolutley beautiful place! We enjoyed staying and it was worth every penny. Diane was wonderful! I will be coming back next time with a bigger crowd- this place is really spacious and laid out perfectly for a special 2 person getaway or a larger crowd! And the decor made me feel like I was staying in a model home for the Pottery Barn! Awesome! |

| Not only do we have no complaints, our stay couldn't have been better! It was great to be able to bring our dog and simply relax in this cute home-away-from-home for a few days. Highly recommended, and we would (and will) stay here again in a heartbeat. |

This was our second time to stay in the Lemon Drop cottage. It's beautifully decorated and very spacious with comfortable beds and an awesome screened in porch. Every amenity is provided, from music to movies to games. It's located on the marsh side - a block from AJ's Dockside (which has the best fried shrimp). And, it's only a 20 minute ride into downtown Savannah.
We will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it to other visitors to Tybee.
The only suggestion I would make is to provide more towels and washclothes. If one stays more than a couple of days, one wants a fresh towel and washcloth. Also, travel size bar soap would be a nice amenity. We had to purchase some soap while we were there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again!

| I have to say we were pleasantly surprised! The pictures on your website just could not do justice to this place! We were only able to stay 2 nights but we loved the setting and the homey environment we felt in the cottage. Everything was neat, very well decorated and very clean. It was also stocked with almost anything you might need while "living" there (dishes, cooking utensils, etc.), even shelves and shelves of books, games, music, movies.... I could go on and on. Everything was GREAT! |

I had been looking at other properties and
getting frustrated until I ran across
Mermaid....Diane was friendly and very
easy to work with about arrangements for
the getaway. When we got there everything
was nice and within walking distance of
beach and restaurants. I would recommend
anyone going to Tybee or Savannah to stay
at the Lemon Drop cottage,
wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
