Pet Friendly home sitting directly on the 6th Street Marsh. Hot Tub on the back deck with incredible views of the marsh. 3 Bedrooms, each with own bath room and marsh view. Complimentary High Speed internet. Home is a duplex and is extremely private and sound proof. Large front yard as well as fenced in yard in the back. Quiet area of the island, yet close to the beach. This home is ideal for guests looking for a Mermaid Cottage Experience, but not an older cottage. Marsh Mermaid is a newer home and as the guests reviews say- our guests love this home!

| The hot tub wouldn't work and someone was out there within 15 minutes to fix it. All the accommodations are fantastic. A quick walk to the beach, a quick walk to the downtown district. Nice and quiet. |

| Marsh Mermaid could not have been a sweeter place to stay! My two girls loved each having their own rooms; the view was amazing; decor perfect; hot tub such a treat; and the overall experience, priceless! We love renting through Mermaid Cottages! Diane and the staff could not be nicer and take greater care of the places and the guests. I would not only definitely recommend Marsh Mermaid to all, but I will be sure to book it again the next time we are in Tybee. |

| My family had a mini-reunion in Savannah back in July and found this place online. The home was even more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. Clean, well furnished, nicely appointed rooms. Each bedroom had it's own full bath. The upstairs master bedroom/bathroom was amazing. A very cozy place with beautiful views. The entire process from picking the rental, to making payment to checking in was easy and painless. A fantastic place for multiple families or families with grown children. I highly recommend. |

We enjoyed our stay at the Marsh Mermaid very much! To our surprise there were almost no bugs( no mosquitos or no see ums) We stayed 10 days with an elderly person and 3 young adults, myself and our shitzhu, Charlie. The house was a wonderful refuge after all day at the beach, or fishing, sightseeing, parasailing, ghost tours in Savannah(a must)and of course shopping. We discovered near the end of our stay that we needed to use both thermometers to have the upstairs cooled as well, and we had to make frequent trips to the store for TP, then for laundry soap, and a few extra towels would have helped. Besides these small items it was definitely A+, and have been recommending to our family and friends that this needs to be there destination of choice, forget Florida!

Although the first night was ROUGH due to some partying neighbors next door, we truly enjoyed our stay at Mermaid Marsh! Luckily, I always travel with earplugs so I would recommend you do the same (Just in case!). Each day afterwards, this home proved to be a great retreat after a long day on the beach. The outdoor shower, laundry on-site, a bathroom for each bedroom, made the clean up fuss free. With 3 children, TVs in each room was also a bonus (no fighting over choices while we got dinner ready). Barbara, Diane, and staff were fantastic throughout the registration process and stay. We enjoyed ourselves we registered for another nite an hour before we were supposed to check out!!

| If you don't need to be really close to the beach, this is a great property. Great view of the back water area. Only two items that were less than ideal; the hot tub isn't hot and the pots and pans available were not what you'd expect in such a nice house. |

This was our second stay on Tybee Island in a Mermaid cottage
property. We found it to be just as wonderful as our first visit in
June. Large rooms and plenty of bathrooms make this a perfect
property to stay especially if you have extra family who like having
their own space. Although it doesn't have the qaintness of the other
cottages available thru Mermaid, it suited our needs. We loved the
quietness and the views of the marsh. Definitely perfect for those
who want to be away from the "activity" but close enough to the
beach. Would definitely recommend it... |

i can't say a single negative thing...this was the perfect choice
for us. Huge house, huge hot tub, amazing views, peaceful, out
of the way yet within walking distance of any store or
restaurant. i would definitely stay there again! |

| My family and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Marsh Mermaid. The somewhat secluded location was also within minutes of the beach and all the local attractions. The master bedroom was luxurious, with a king sized sleigh bed, and a terrific spa tub and huge shower in the master bath. We loved the deck, which was a peaceful setting to begin and end each day, whether in the hottub or just watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. The house was also kid friendly, with covers on all outlets and a helpful guide on the counter that gave us the name of a crib rental service. We just had the most lovely time, I am sure we will rent with mermaid cottages again. |

| Great location just blocks from beach. Free wi-fi and comfortable furnishings a plus. Floorplan works well for three couples; not particularly kid-friendly, although there are TVs in every bedroom. Kitchen accessories were somewhat lacking; we had to borrow wine glasses and a stock pot from friends who live nearby. The hot tub is a nice feature, but it did not work consistently during our stay. Overall, Marsh Mermaid is a great rental property, but it is just that - clean and comfortable, but without the "homey" touches you find in many Tybee cottages. |

The location of the house was great. I enjoyed my stay although I had some issues about the furniture on the deck which was replaced after I spoke with one of the agents. The hot-top was working at times but not always. Another issue was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I would recommend this home.

| This is the perfect place to stay if you want to rest and relax. The property is just a short walk away from the beach and is located right on a marsh. We easily went into Savannah some days for tours and great meals, but we also chose to stay on Tybee for slower paced days. The location of the Marsh Mermaid is a little out of the way so it was quiet and easy to sleep in! I will definitely return. It was the most perfect vacation I'd had in a long time! |

| My family and I stayed at the Marsh Mermaid during my nieces wedding in June and was very pleasantly surprised with the house. As I'm sure you know, you can't always tell by the photo's if a rental property will be anything like what you see in the pictures, and happily, the Marsh Mermaid was everything and more. It was beautifully furnished, clean and smelled nice. We didn't have our dog with us, but if we did bring him, there was a small yard for him to stay in. Each bedroom had it's own bath and for my kids it was perfect. Location was good, we sat on the back deck before we left and watched a storm roll in over the marsh and the next morning watched the sun rise over the marsh. It's a very quiet area with quiet neighbors. You drive through a rough part of the neighborhood to get there, but no worries, the locals were nice and rode their bicycles or was out jogging. The next time we go to Tybee for anything,we will see if we can rent this property again. We have already suggested it to friends. The rental company was nice professional people who made renting the house easy and emailed everything to me in a timely manner. Our stay was wonderful. So, if you are looking for a nice family house close to the ocean without all the traffic, I highly recommend the Marsh Mermaid. |

| We had a wonderful time there. This was a Father's Day gift from my wife. It was VERY spacious, open and bright. Nice master bathroom with huge shower. Guys who need a little elbow room can appreciate. The toilet clogged easily, but it wasn't a big deal. We went to the local store, got some groceries and grilled out "at home" when we weren't at a nice local restaurant or enjoying the beach. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, seasonings and other amenties already stocked for us. We left a few extras for the next family as well. Waking up to the birds chirping and enjoying breakfast on the deck overlooking the marsh is relaxing to the say the least. All I can say now is: We'll be back! |
