The mimosa was bright and cheery and clean. The
Mimosa was just a few block walk to the beach and
nice neighborhood to stroll and walk the dog. I
liked the cleanliness and bright cheery the best. I
needed more kitchen utensils... larger skillet,
cutting board and pie pan... Having the outdoor
shower was wonderful, the bicycles and grill and
beach/sand toys were great to have.
I would definitely stay at mimosa or other property
mermaid has to offer. oh, yes, and vincent our lab,
love ft pulaski. we do wish dogs were allowed on the
beach on tybee however. |

| WOW, this place was wonderful and neatly decorated. Our grown children were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They too are eager to return to Tybee Island and to this cottage or perhaps one of the others you have. The back porch provided a wonderful area for evening chats, card games or just a drink or three enjoying the quiet nights. To Diane and Barbara, thanks for the calls following up and checking to see if everything was to our liking! I know these North Carolina folks will be back this coming fall and we know a few more folks from here will be vacationing with Merimaid Cottages next summer as well. Again, thanks and we look forward to booking Minosa cottage. |

I took my 14yr old daughter and her 2 good friends from Denver to Tybee and they fell in love with the place. We loved the cottage. It was perfect for all of us. The girls really enjoyed the outdoor shower after a day at the beach.
Our only ding would be that the electrical system cannot handle hairdryers and dishwashers at the same time. A heads-up note would be helpful there.
Also we were so excited to find the 3 bikes at the house, but bummed because one had a totally flat tire.
Thank you for a lovely rental, we plan to come back, and the girls from Denver want to bring their parents. |

Good Times with the Grandkids |

Every year our family has a "Family Vacation". We decided to try Tybee Island since this was half way between Orlando (where the grandkids live) and Lake Wylie, SC. where we live.
Our stay at The Mimosa Cottage was very pleasant. We enjoyed the back screened porch immensely since it rained most every day we were there. The cottage is very cute and clean. We were only 4 blocks to the beach.
The only drawback was that the controller to the bedroom TV would not work, otherwise everything worked well (free internet, other TV, DVD player, etc.). The area was very quiet and peaceful.

| The cottage was great! Plenty of room. Wonderful screened porch and large deck. Only 3 blocks or so from the beach. I have stayed in several Mermaid Cottages over the years and they all have been great. I always call Diane when planning a trip to Tybee. |

Just what we needed |

Our group of 6 fit nicely in this little house and had no serious issues with it! Since it's a summer house and pet friendly, expect some sand and stray pet hairs around the house. Renting this house was a breeze and the whole process went smoothly and without a glitch. Diane and the Mermaid Cottages are very friendly and quick to respond through email or phone. All of the information you need about the island is provided and everyone is more than happy to help you get around.
We had dinner every night on the grill and breakfast on the back deck. Fully stocked kitchen made eating in very convenient. Loved the washer and dryer! Perfect experience with a short walk to the beach! Savannah was also just 30 minutes away and most definitely worth visiting.
Recommended for 4-5 people, or a family of 5 since sharing 1 full bathroom among a group of 6 adults may be tricky.
NOT recommended for those looking for a luxury complex (it's a quaint home, not a condo) or people with pet allergies.
Would use Mermaid Cottages again in the future. |

| My mom and I stayed there for the St. Patty's parade weekend. We had such a blast. The cottage is awesome. I love Jane Coslick's work. She is a star on Tybee. The backyard was perfect for the shih tzus and the screened in porch was wonderful to set out on and enjoy the company of friends. I say stay here. It is a great piece of property for the rental price. |

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cottage is convenient to everything; the availability of bikes was an added bonus. The backyard was great for our dog. The only drawback was the refrigerator; it never got cold enough to store food.

| My family and i stayed for a long weekend. The house is small, but it was perfect for what we needed. The back porch was GREAT- big and roomy. The kitchen was roomy as well. It was very clean and the best part was the fenced in yard for our pooch! She loved it as well. |

This is the second year in a row that my wife, myself and my 1 year old daughter have stayed in this cottage. It is cute. Great screened in porch. They allow dogs in this one, which is great.
We really like the location 3 blocks from the beach and a short walk to convenience store & restaurant.
It is not the Ritz, but it is well appointed and has all the appliances in the kitchen that you would need to eat in and save some dough.
A bit small if you have 2 families but doable. Good for a family of 4 & 1/2.

Great cottage, with great great location really just a short walk to the beach. The champagne and orange juice was a nice touch. The grill and screen house came in very handy. In fact I'm writing this from work and I wish I was back there.
The only negatives were a few light bulbs out in kitchen and bedroom other wise we had a great stay. It was worth the money. |

Thanks for asking for feedback. Overall the house was nice,if a little beat up. Main issues were overall cleanliness, very slow draining drains (especially shower). Screen porch has broken screens and the property was advertised with a bicycle which was missing. Property also has some fire ants in the front yard. We had great weather and the beds were comfortable. It is a lovely beach shack. We had a great time and would rent there again. |

We had a really great time on Tybee Island and in the Mimosa Cottage. It is so cute and pretty and it really is pet friendly, which we appreciated a lot! The sun porch is wonderful and all day long you can feel the breeze off the ocean.
I was a bit dissapointed that the Island dog park information has not been updated since they moved the dog park. It is quite a hoof to get there now on foot. But you do get to see some pretty homes on the way if you go through the residential area to get there.
We had a party of six with two dogs and we would go back tomorrow if we could!

Mimosa Cottage was very cute and located in a great part of the ISland. It was easy to walk to both North Beach, South Beach, and everywhere inbetween. The house is well mainatined and the back porch was great!
The place coupld use a fresh coat of paint on the outside as well as some landscaping. We had a problem with the door not locking, but it was fixed within a couple of hours.

| Overall, we had a good experience with the home. The only issues we had were the cleanliness of the bedrooms. The sheets had not been changed from the previous guests, so they were covered in sand. This was the case in all three bedrooms. We notified the owners, and they were very apologetic and offered to have the beds remade. The cottage was comfortable and convenient for us, but a little overpriced when compared to other properties in the area. |

| Thank you for your feedback, we do have a new check list and cottage inspection in place so we make sure something as crazy as all three beds weren't made!! We do however feel our cottages are a great value for the price. We have not raised our prices in two years because we feel that everyone should be able to enojoy the beach. We also feel that $160 a night for a three bedroom cottage that sleeps 8 people is truly a great value. You can't find a hotel room in Tybee for $160 on a weeked that only sleeps 2 pp, so we stand by the great value and price we offer with our cottages. Also note, we do offer less expensive cottages, but they are further back from the beach then this cottage. We do try and offer something for everyone's price range. |

We rented Mimosa Cottage along with our older kids and their spouses. We were on the island for one of our daughter's wedding. It was a clean and relaxing place to stay. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and outdoor shower! We found everything we needed at the cottage. (Could have used more towels and toilet paper) The beds were all very clean and comfortable. It was nice to find the keys in the lock box when we arrived. We were just a little disappointed that we could not get on the internet with our laptop, as we needed to take care of some business back home. Other than that, we loved the place and comes with our high recommendation!

| We provide one full set of towels per person the cottage sleeps and provide a starter set of Toilet Paper and paper towels ( one per bathroom and one role of PT for the kitchen) We let everyone know that in their pre arrival email that is sent two weeks prior to arrival. We also ahve a technology concierge who lives on the island and literally works 24.7. Any of our guests in any of our cottages can call Michael ( his name and number is posted in each cottage) and time of the day or night for help with the complimentary wifi and internet service. We can't solve the internet problem if we don't know there is one.... so a remidner to all our guests and potential guests- we can't solve our problem if we hear about it after you've checked out.... call us and let us know what we can do to make your visit as close to perfect as humanly possible. |

| My husband and I rented the Mimosa Cottage because it was prom weekend, and many of our son's friends were staying at the beach. I think that we stayed on the back porch perhaps 80% of our waking time. The colorful sheers made a perfect backdrop for the pre-prom pictures. The home was most accommodating, so we lacked for nothing. We also appreciated the short walk to the beach. We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!! |
