Although it is not actually up in a tree we call this lovely home "The Treehouse" since the setting makes you feel as if you are staying in a real treehouse.This lovely home in Newland, NC, has a huge deck that wraps around two sides of the home so you can really enjoy the out of doors. All the furniture is new so it is really attractive.The living room is especially comfortable with a new leather sofa and love seat. The sofa opens to a queen size sleeper and the love seat has dual recliners for the ultimate in comfort. You will love to kick back and enjoy a fire in the gas log fireplace and relax after a day of skiing or sight seeing. You will also enjoy the TV with the Direct TV expanded channels. Or you can enjoy watching a DVD from the library of DVD's in the home or from the A and W office.Each of the two bedrooms has a queen sized bed. One bedroom has log "cabiny" feel furniture and the second has Wrought iron and wood poster bed with a 6 drawer chest and Tiffany lamps.The rhododendrins that surround this home are really outstanding. The home is located very near Mountain Glens golf course and is also near the new Wilderness Trail golf course that is being built on Hickory Nut Gap Road.In summer you can enjoy the community pool in Newland and the location is very handy to many attractions in the area such as Grandfather Mountain, Gem Mountain, Roan Mountain State Park, and Linville Caverns.The ski slopes of Ski Beech or Ski Sugar would be about 12 miles from the home.
