| The property (#1010) is so convenient to everything that Savannah offers to its many visitors. You are just across the street from the beautiful Washington Square, one block from the river, a block from The Pirate House (a great restaurant)and just a few blocks from the bustling historic downtown area for shopping and more restaurants. Most items are within walking distance. We chose to rent a car at the airport and drive around due to heat and a day trip to Charleston. Street parking was easy and if spots were filled, a parking garage was just a short walk up the street. If you plan to stay longer than a couple of days, be sure to get a city-wide parking pass that allows you to park in any metered parking space or city operated garage without fear of a ticket. This saved us a great deal of trouble. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. A trip to the local Kroger's and we had the frig loaded and ready to hit the town. Please check out the shows at the Savannah Theatre. Savannah is loaded with local talent and they put on a great show. We saw "The Beat Goes On." Tom, the owner of #1010 was so helpful with tips and suggestions. He saved us so much time (i.e. the parking pass and others). The living room and bedrooms are very spacious and after a few hours, it felt like home. If we ever visit Savannah again, #1010 will be our choice. |

We rented this property for a girlfriend getaway weekend. It could not
have been more perfect. The location was great, walking distance to
all the major sights. The townhome was beautiful, roomy and stocked
with all the basic items you might need. It had a wonderful private
courtyard with a peaceful fountain and even a grill. The owner, who
lives upstairs, was very warm and engaging. He wanted to make sure
our stay was flawless and it was. I highly recommend this lovely place.
Perfect for families and good friends! |

Our visit to Savannah was in celebration of our 10th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We have been to Savannah many times and truly love this city. We decided to rent a home instead of a hotel room so we could really enjoy the flavor of the District.
Our host met us as we pulled in and helped unload our car. Tom gave us a tour of the house and courtyard and gave us great suggestions on where to eat, etc. The house and courtyard are just beautiful; you've got everything you need to feel right at home. Special care was taken in the decorating and updating of this home. Just Beautiful!
A short walk to River Street, a good meal at One Eyed Lizzie's and unwinding on a bench in Washington Square -- Not bad for the 1st evening of our getaway. We wanted to be within walking distance to everything happening on River Street but also have a place where we could unwind and relax. This was it! The tea olives were blooming in our courtyard so time spent there with our morning coffee was wonderful.
We love Savannah & plan a return trip next spring, staying right here on Washington Square. This is the place for us.

We just spent a wonderful weekend in Savannah and had a great time. This is
the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect. The house was in a wonderful location so we parked the car when we arrrived and never used it the entire weekend. The owner of the property contacted me and gave us wonderful directions and information for every thing we needed for our visit. When we arrived we were lucky enough to meet the owner and he showed us around the house and explained where we would find everything. We were pleased to learn that the pictures online matched the home. It's actually nicer than the pictures! We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you want to relax. It's peaceful and serine, just right after a day of sightseeing. I'm thinking of going back in the fall and I would rent this property again.
. Enjoy. |

Awesome historic apartment on Wachington Square |

| The ground level historic apartment on green and gorgeous Washington Square was incredible. There is no more perfect location for proximity to both River St. and the historic district. The space is awesome with a beautiful tranquil and private enclosed rear patio. The owner of this property went out of his way to accomodate us with parking permits, etc. without invading our privacy. The open livin-dining-bar area is an awesome space. The master BR, bath and kitchen are all very nice and well appointed. The second BR is less attractively decorated and furnished but still quite acceptable with lots of closet space. Overall, this place gets an A+ and definite consideration for return visits. |

| This home was the perfect vacation rental for a downtown Savannah get-away. It was decorated beautifully and had all of the things we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The area was quiet and safe, and we were able to walk easily to Riverstreet and other downtown locations. On street parking was never a problem and working with Savannah Getaways was a pleasure. We plan to return to this home again on our next trip down! |

| We were very pleased in our choice to stay at this beautiful Washington Square location. We were happy to be within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to see. The house was bustling with excitement during the day (I opened the front doors during the day to watch the carriages and tours going by). At night it was quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the court yard which reminded me of a English tea garden and was located right off the kitchen. If you want to get the most out of your trip to Savannah I highly recommend that you stay here or at one of many rental houses, town homes, and apartments this beautiful city has to offer. We traveled with friends that had been to Savannah many times (staying in motels) and they said this experience far surpassed them all just because of the accommodations. |

The Mott townhouse on Washington Square made our first trip to Savannah perfect! The house is lovely with everything we needed and more! It was wonderful being able to have our two precious pups with us also. So nice to have the private courtyard out back and the quiet square right at our front door!
Savannah Getaways does a fantastic job compared to other rental agencies we've used before. Plus great contact and information from the owner which made our arrival (and our entire stay) easier. We highly recommend! |
