We love going to Savannah for a week every February and finding this condo makes it even better. The unit is clean, beautiful, convenient, and feels like old Savannah. We walk out of the door into the historic district. When we feel like staying home, we can cook meals, watch a DVD, sleep late, or play a game. We think of it as our home away from home.
It's only a one bedroom but it feels roomy, with plenty of storage space and the kitchen works for us. The shower is huge! We don't have to climb lots of stairs, either. More...

My new husband and I spent our honeymoon in this great apartment. It was private, clean, quiet and conveniently located. The apartment has wonderful furnishings and is very comfortable for relaxing in. The location is a little to the east of the areas of the historic district we visited but it only added an extra five minutes to our walk which in Savannah is adding five minutes of joy.

The only negative is the parking situation. You have to get up early on your first day to go to the Tourism Office to get a parking permit so you can park on the street. We never had a problem getting a good space though and there is one day of the week you have to make sure your car is on the right side of the street for the street sweeper but again only a mild inconvenience.

Savannah Getaways is awesome...I looked all over for a hotel near the historic district that wasn't $$$$, this was the answer. AND it's not a hotel, it's a little pied-a-terre. Service and communication were great from Savannah Getaways. My only disappointement was arriving at the property and my instructed time and finding that the key was not in the lock box, this resulted in a 1.5 hour delay before we could get in. Then, I accidently left 2 rain jackets in the closet (my fault, I know) and have tried endlessly to get them sent to me and no one will assist. I have even been told to call the housekeeper, who has confirmed she has them, but no one will help. That's very disspointing for an otherwise lovely stay and service. More...

We spent a little under a week at this lovely condo in the historic
district in downtown Savannah. The location was absolutely perfect -
it was close to a great coffee shop that we frequented everyday, and
also spent many mornings walking through the district and admiring
the lovely sights!

The property was great! A great kitchen, which was very clean and
also the perfect size bedroom, family room and bathroom. We would
definitely return to this property in the future!

We spent a weekend here in May. The location was central to everything. We parked our car (free on weekends) right outside and didn't move it all weekend. Although the bedroom, bath and kitchen are a little on the small side, it was ample for two and much better than a hotel room. We didn't cook in, but the small kitchen was well equipped. The furnishings are tasteful. My only complaint would be the sunshine coming through the bedroom windows in the morning. There are shutters on the bottom half only. We would stay here again.
