We came down in August for my daughter's beach wedding and stayed at the Spyglass. It was clean and suited our purposes perfectly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

great location and view right on the beach, plenty of room, but had a few issues. when we arrived the screen door was all rusted and off the track. we called the office, they said someone would be out right away...no one showed, so we couldn't leave the door open for a nice breeze. the outlet in the main bathroom didn't work, and the dryer didn't dry. i asked when checking in if the dryer was fixed yet, after reading in a review that it didn't work another time. they said they thought someone looked at it already...but no. so our kids had to use our bathroom outlet and mirror, and we had to hang our wet laundry outside. we also had to re wash any dishes before we used them, as they were all filthy. the water pressure was terrible, but that was the whole building, and not just 101A. there was plenty of towels and toiletries, dishes and utensils. it was decorated nicely. it could have used another tv, but that was no big deal. 1. Clean, well kept, with good view.
2. Parking poor. Resulted in my paying a $100.00 towing bill to have car pulled from sand. Another tennant had similiar problem with parking causing broken water line buried 2 inches under sand next to parking area.
3. Clothes dryer would not dry clothes.
4. All other appliances and accessories worked well.
5. Equal to or better than other places stayed at in Gulf Shores in the past.

This condo was perfect for our family. There were 3 adults and 4 kids. Upon arrival we had a couple of issues that were handled immediatlely by Anchor Vacation Rentals. The location and view were perfect! The kids played in the ocean just steps away from our deck or the shaded pool conviently located right under the condo. The only drawback was the queen sofa. It is broke in several places and not comfortable at all. It needs to be replaced or not advertised as an option for sleeping! We will go back. More...

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Spyglass 101A. This is a beautful beachfront property. It was the perfect place to relax. Thank you so much. We will return. I only hope this property is available.
