With comfortable casual furnishings and a full kitchen you'll enjoy this beach condo. Walk the beach for miles, do some shelling, stretch out by the pool, experience the fabulous Captiva sunsets...this is your island get-a-way. | This was one of our best family vacations! We've had wonderful vacations on Sanibel, but never to stayed on Captiva, and we're glad we came. Although quite a drive from the mainland, it was kind of nice to be away from it all. The pool was a favorite for the kids, and the adults just loved the beach - nice long walks on the beach were my daily exercise. It was nice to not bring any chairs or umbrellas to the beach - the staff set us up each day on the beach and it was perfect. We watched beautiful sunsets from our balcony and beach each night. We also had some wonderful food at local (Captiva) restaurants and also on Sanibel. Accommodations are nice and very much like the photos. There are lots of things to do - but we just chose to relax and enjoy the pool and beach. Can't wait to come back again! |

| I thought I was renting a "home" (well, a second home) but it turned out to be a condo in a very large and crowded resort. Aside from the fact that the screens were torn and the guides to the kitchen drawer were broken, it was a comfortable enough place but the lack of privacy, smoke and noise from adjacent condos was overwhelming, as were the crowds on the beach. All the drawbacks but none of the benefits of being in a resort (e.g., no linen exchange, access to tennis courts, shuttle service, internet, etc.). |

We are sorry that you thought you were getting a home instead of a condo. We send reservation confirmations which have the same description that is displayed above and on our website. It clearly states that it is a condo and it also states that a amenity access pass can be purchased prior to your arrival, and with that you have access to the tennis courts, etc.. This condo was completely renovated after Hurricane Charley and has had rave reviews from prior guests. Thank you for your review as these words will allow us to make improvements and increase guest experiences moving forward. |
