budget minded luxury |

| There are no tennis courts, Jacuzzi, or free kayaks, but Sand Pointe is a small, quiet complex for budget-minded folkson. It has a nice pond and is close to beach. Parking is under the building so your car will stay cool. There are shopping carts to help you take your groceries/luggage up to your condo. (Of course there is an elevator). Unit 111 does not have updated appliances but the appliances function. What Unit 111 has is a wonderful view of the pond and you can watch the ibises as they hunt for food. Unit 111 has an expansive balcony-6 people would be very comfortable there. Decor is yellow/blue and is cheerful. The best part about staying in unit 111 (have stayed here twice) is the large screened-in balcony where you can sip coffee and watch wildlife. It's an end unit on the first floor. |

Great week, minor disaster |

| This was the our second stay at Sand Pointe 111. We like the location and floor plan. We have children that sometime stay a few days with us during the week and the 2 BR/2 Bath works out very nicely. This year we had a major electrical failure in the evening and could not get anybody on the emergency line that SA gave us. We had to wait until the following morning after the office opened to get help. We spent the night without AC which was pretty uncomfortable. But we will still be back, heck they had to put in all new electrical so we should not have any problem. We were moved to another unit in Sand Pointe just in time for our grandchildrens visit. We did appreciate the $100 rebate for the lost day and will also be using the 15% discount offered by the owners of 111 next year when we rent it again. |

| This apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. Ideally located for the beach. The swimming pool was excellent and the grounds kept in very good condition. We enjoyed our stay here and would rent this apartment again. |

Sanibel in the Spring |

| First time in this unit. Have stayed in another unit in the complex. Had great weather. Nice unit. Master bath was only a shower. Bath/shower combo in the guest bath. Bed in master bedroom seemed more like a queen and not a king. The front door on the inside definitely needed painted. Well stocked with dishes. Liked the flat screen TV's. Would have like to have had WiFi in the complex. |

We have stayed on Sanibel previously, but not at this particular complex. It is difficult to find something with such easy access to the beach - a short walk down the boardwalk. You can even see the Gulf from the balcony (not a full view but partial). The unit was clean, though the front door is rusted and needs repainting. There is a washer/dryer in the unit, and plenty of room. There are ample linens. Most impressive was the fact that we had three really cute boys under the age of 6 living next door and never once heard them. The complex is older and well built, and the walls are thick - not paper thin like you find in alot of the newer ones. The complex is also fairly small, so there is plenty of room at the pool.

| This unit was bright and spacious with the best equiped kitchen (but bring your salt and pepper shakers). The complex is small and quiet; the pool offered sufficent seating for all. The grounds are well maintained and the location is ideal for quick access to the grocery store. I would have loved to have had access to beach chairs. It is all what you would like to experience in Sanibel. |
