We returned to this unit after two years. Our granddaughter insisted that we not stay anywhere else. This trip we brought her mother along too. The unit and the complex have been freshened up since our last stay. The new walkways and stairs are great, as are the new grills. The biggest attraction is still the great shelling beach just steps from the door. We loved being able to lounge in the pool before retiring for the day.

We still found several electrical outlets that are so loose that we couldn't keep anything plugged into them. I'd love to see a new door on the unit like the one the neighbors have installed. (Struggling to lock and unlock the door gets old.) Don't mistake my quibbles for major dissatisfaction. We'd go back in a second.

This second floor condo is in a great location. It is in the middle building of 3, but their is a great view of the beach from
both the screen covered eating porch and the
large master bedroom. It is steps fromt the
large sized community pool and the beach. It is located near the island bike path and is very near the local grocery store and many stores and restaurants. The loft bedroom is
perfect for teen-agers.

We just spent a week in this condo and it was everything and more than what was advertised! We did some cooking on the community grill (breakfast & lunch) and the kitchen is very well equipped. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach, which was very clean and enjoyable. We ate at a different restaurant every evening and had a great experience.

I am a long time condo renter on SAnibel island and have stayed in many different condos and used many different vacation rental agencies.

The overall stay was good except for two things. When we first entered the condo it was muggy and HOT. The frige was hot, the freezer... apparently the power was turned off on the unit when not rented. It took 3 days to get the air to 75 degrees. It was hot hot hot! It too the frige 3 days to coll down as well as it to was hot hot hot. I would rent this unit again but would demand that the unit be prepared for our arrival by turning the on th AC a couple of days before.

There appeared to be plenty of quality accomodations on Sanibel but we would not bother looking around. We would head straight back to this house. Great for a family. Would easily accomdate 6. The 2 beds in the loft may not be suitable for children under 6 because of the balcony. And the small window in the loft could do with some curtains but it is not a big issue. Great position right next to the beach (Lovely, if slightly limited view of the Gulf from the balcony and masterbedroom). Great position to explore the island(hire a bike).
