Magazines editors love this cottage! Cottage Living June 2005 selected Fish Camp as the cover cottage, Coastal Living July2002 featured the outside showers as one of the best in the country, Waterfront Home and Design Spring 2006 couldn't say enough great things ( to read all these articles in full go to www.janecoslick.com). This origanal 1950's fish camp was completely restored by Jane and brought back to life. Painted the color of her favorite morning glory flowers ( which bloom all summer) and yellow rain slicker, filled with art, compfy beds to snuggle, a garden to dream and relax- we are delighted to know make this home available to rent!

| Our family celebrated our daughter's 13th birthday here a few weeks ago. This cottage is perfect for a small family, charmingly decorated and well-equipped with entertainment extra's (TV, DVD player, books, games) in case of rain. There's a lovely marsh view from the backyard, and it's only a few blocks from the beach and AJ's Dockside. Mermaid Cottages staff was very attentive, calling to see if we had everything we needed and suggesting a great restaurant for a birthday dinner. I would love to rent Fish Camp Cottage again--- only negative with Tybee Island (or any coastal area) is the mosquitoes! |

| My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson, and I stayed at Fish Camp over the Labor Day weekend. We certainly enjoyed our stay. The home is exactly as it looks on the web. The cottage was beautifully decorated and we felt at home. The location was great and we enjoyed the porches with our 9 month old. We could have used another bath. That addition would make it perfect. We still would highly recommend this beautiful cottage and hope to visit again soon. |

We stayed at Fish Camp Cottage July 24-26. This is the cutest cottage. Diane is great. She stopped by to make sure that everything was good for us. It is was simply wonderful. We are planning another trip with Mermaid Cottages. We may try another cottage, but Fish Camp will be hard to resist. It is very cute and colorful cottage with all the amenities of home.

Our stay at Mermaid Cottages was amazing from start to finish. The only complaint I had was that they were so popular we couldn't extend our trip longer!
We were two couples, staying at the Fish Camp Cottage for a week in July and from the moment we walked in, we knew it would be a magical experience. From riding bikes around Tybee, dinners on the covered porch, relaxing showers outside, to the bath-warm ocean, it was the best-- and most relaxing-- trip I've ever had. We're already planning to make the trip an annual event. |

We also want to remind all of our Mermaid Cottage Guests- when you check into one of the homes and something needs to be taken care of, PLEASE CALL US while you are here. We can always send over a housekeeper or maintence person to take care of what isn't perfect. We want you to have a great visit and will correct right then and there what isn't right. |

| Our vacation at Fish Camp Cottage exceeded all of our expectations. The cottage is so charming, and the staff at Mermaid Cottages were so responsive and helpful. The yard is wonderful for children to play in, and the cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We hope that we will be able to stay there again on our next visit to Tybee Island. The area around to cottage is quiet but close to the main beach. We brought many things with us to the house only to realize that the house already had most of it. We are hoping to make a stay at Fish Camp Cottage an annual family event. |

| Great cottage. I loved being in the quiet part of the island. This cottage is close to AJ's and the bike path. The front yard is just gorgeous. This was our second stay with Mermaid Cottages and we loved it! Plan on making another visit later in the year. |

We recently stayed in Fish Camp for several days and had a truly wonderful time! The cottage greeted us with vibrant and sunny colors, a lovely yard for our dog to play in, and an immediate warmth of a well loved and cared for cottage.
Coming from the cold in Michigan we took full advantage of drinking coffee on the porch every morning; and sitting underneath the twinkling lights at night. The amenities at Fish Camp made it easy to enjoy our vacation and not have to worry about whether we remembered to bring towels! When we arrived the cottage was clean, fresh, and ready for new visitors.
Be it a bike ride around the island or cocktails with friends we spent our getaway really GETTING AWAY from our hectic lives. Tybee Island's laid back yet lively atmosphere created the perfect combination of activity and relaxation.
We strongly recommend renting Fish Camp for any couple or family wanting to enjoy the splendors of Tybee Island while staying in a truly charming cottage. Bring your sense of adventure and desire for tranquility, as Fish Camp will not disappoint!

Three generations were on this trip. All had a memorable experience. Fish Camp Cottage was like a magical place. We didn't even go to the beach. There was too much to enjoy at our cottage. Decorator has a talent that made everyone who entered feel special.

| The cottage was perfect for us. With the dog he had a place to move around. the cottage was big enough for his cage. the Outdoor shower was great!! the view of the marsh area while taking the shower was breathtaking. The location is nice because it kept you from all the other tourist so you had privacy, but only minutes from anything even by bike. We will be back |

| My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time! The weather and other factors were in our favor as well, but the FISH CAMP was an absolutely PERFECT vacation rental! It is charming and cozy as well as functional. We loved the screened-in porch for early morning coffee and late evening dinner & drinks. The outdoor shower is TOPS in our book! The support staff was incredibly helpful and available for anything we might have needed. We highly recommend FISH CAMP to anyone looking for a vacation rental on Tybee Island. |

i had been admiring this cottage for years and was so excited to have the opportunity to visit.the location is great of the main drag just a bit so nice and quite.we loved that there were great books and movies in the home...free entertainment!dinner on the screen porch breakfast in the kitchen.the doggie door made the vaction for our family pet a true treasure as we all like to travel togeather!the decor (as all mermaid cottages are)very NIZE!we will be back! fish camp has everything to make your vaction a true get away!

| We had the pleasure of staying at Fish Camp while we were visting Tybee in August during the remnants of Hurricane Fay. The weather outside was definitely frightful, but the cottage was truely delightful! Due to the weather we spent alot of time inside at Fish Camp and found it to be very homey and comfortable. It's bright and cheery interior kept our spririts up and the cottage is well equipped with books and games which kept us entertained. Being a gardener, I really enjoyed Fish Camp's beautiful yard tucked away on the quiet side of the island. We enjoyed a very relaxing, laid back vacation at Fish Camp and we look forward to returning soon! |

| The Fish Camp Cottage was perfect. We have never rented a cottage before and when I saw it online, I knew that it would be perfect. It looks exactly like it does in the photos. It was clean, cozy and convenient. I took a lot of photos of the cottage itself. Those photos will be displayed in our bedroom to remind us of the fun family vacation we had there. They even have WiFi so we could use our laptops in their little office. You won't be disappointed. |

This property is simply too precious for words. The rooms were
comfortable and inviting. A quaint and unique door off of the family
room led to a charming master bedroom suite. The kitchen is quite
roomy and well stocked with kitchen equipment to make cooking easy.
The owners have supplied a marvelous selection of reading material -
so much so that I abandoned my own books for theirs as beach
reading. The garden area invites lounging and conversation. Fish
Camp Cottage made our stay at Tybee a real treat. |

| My husband son and I (and our dog) visited Tybee Island for the first time this summer. We stayed at Fish Camp cottage. It was a wonderful week. You feel instantly at home there. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. One of my greatest pleasures was taking a shower outside after returning from the beach. You look up and are surrounded by beautiful trees and sky. We would walk to A.J.'s for dinner and sit out on the deck watching the sunset. I felt like a different person when I left,who could ask for more? |

The Fish Camp Cottage was wonderful. Our vacation consisted of four adults and three small dogs for a total of four nights and five days. It was one of the best family vacations we have been on in a long time.
The house is rich in color and the landscape is also very vibrant. There is a fenced in yard for the animals to play in, you can ride bikes almost anywhere, and everything is a short drive. There is an outdoor shower that is just quaint. The atmosphere is to die for!
I was really surprised to see how nicely kept the house was and how easy it was to rent. The Mermaid Cottage Rentals did a wonderful job keeping us posted of anything we needed in advance.
I would love to go back, but I am not sure if it would be the same...first impressions last a life time, and this isn't one that I would ever change. |

| My family and I had a FANTASTIC time staying at the Fish Camp Cottage!!! It was our first official family vacation with our 10 month old daughter and it did not disappoint. The cottage had everything we could ever want or need and it was a bike ride away from everything on the island. Besides having the comforts of home it was also wonderfully decorated and very cozy. The rental establishment was very efficient too. We had a problem with the cable, gave Mermaid Cottages a call and it was fixed in no time. The only thing I can think to complain about is the cleanliness of the floors. We let our daughter crawl around once we got there after a very long time in the car and the tops of her feet and palms of her hands were black with dirt. We did find cleaning supplies right in the closet so we gave the floors a once over ourselves. One little tiny hick-up in a wonderful week of fun. I would recommend Fish Camp Cottage to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Tybee. I think we'll be back for sure. Enjoy!! |

| thank you for your feedback!Keeping the floors clean is a challenge that we are always working on to improve. The good news is we now use Swiffer for the floors- we hadn't been using this product because we'd read it was poison for dogs, but then found out that was an urban myth- so we're again using this product. This should help keep the floors cleaner. Looking foward to your return visit! |

| Fish Camp Cottage was perfect for our mommy-daughter bonding weekend. My girls (ages 3 and 4) and i fell in love with the cottage the second we laid eyes on it. It was like staying in a dollhouse! It was very well-stocked and had all the comforts of home with some fun added extras. The girls adored the outdoor shower and i enjoyed reading on the sleeping porch (the house also had a fun selection of books!) The beach was a pleasant 10 minute walk away and the neighborhood was very friendly. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back. |
