This one bedroom, one bath condo has a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, dining room for four, spacious layout, full size washer and dryer and your own private deck to marvel our famous alpenglow on the mountains. Located at the base of the mountain, the Rockies is within walking distance to the slopes or Ski Time Square. After a hard day of skiing, relax in the outdoor heated pool or the two hot tubs.

| In 2006 we visited the 'boat' and stayed in a motel. In 2008 we stayed at the Rockies and it added an element that made Steamboat feel more like home and relaxed. The Rockies was very clean and well appointed. The stay at the Rockies afforded us substantial room to wind down after our busy days visiting our daughter. The lease folks (Kim & Dan) are truly professional yet personable folks who made the lease transaction as smooth as possible. It's great to be able to lease from owners ! |

| We stayed at this property for 3 nights... It suited our needs perfectly. One bedroom with a seperate pull out couch for our son. The condo was very clean! There was a washer and dryer which was very convenient. Loved the location - the bus which takes you to the ski area was steps away -The nice part was that Kim was very informative and welcoming. If there were any problems or questions, she was available.We would stay here again!! |

There is always some reservation booking places sight unseen. Although, the booking process with Kim was first-rate and seamless, you still never know until you get there.
Upon our arrival, the condo was great! Clean, great decor, wine and treats were a plus. Washer/Dryer with detergent provided was a great amenity. They had everything we needed for cooking meals during our stay.
The location is literally right next to the bus stop, and with the provided route guide, we were riding the shuttle the next day. The shuttle drops you off and picks you up right next to the mountain, perfect for those that ski. The condo faces the mountain which was perfect for the fireworks on St. Patricks Day.
The heated pool and hot tubs were fun for the kids.
We had a great time, and the condo was a big reason why. If were are in need of a condo again in Steamboat, there is no doubt I will be calling Kim. |

Everything we expected. Unit was clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountain. Bus was easy to use or could walk (uphill to mountain about 15 minutes).
No real negatives to be found. Easy access, reasonable price. Would recommend. |

This is a great condo, and one of the best deals in Steamboat. I researched for several weeks before picking The Rockies and it was a great place to stay... very affordable, and the location was very close to the lifts... we didn't walk to much, since the condo was directly on the busline, and a five minute ride to Gondola Square.
The condo was very clean, plenty of towels and bedding... and dealing directly with the owners was nice. We added a person to our group late, and Kim was nice enough to add a fold up bed to the condo for us, at no extra charge... a great condo, and great people to deal with... and the record snowfall this winter was AWESOME!!! I'd never seen so much powder!!! We had a great trip... thanks |
