Vacation Rental Description
Planning a reunion, wedding, quilting or scrapbooking fest -- perhaps a church or zen retreat?? Elk Point Lodge is the perfect place. This lovely three level cabin tucked away in the forested mountains has over 5,000 sq. ft and two kitchen areas. There are three master bedrooms with private baths. The main level consists of two master bedrooms suites (goose down comforters), a full kitchen, an informal dining area, a 1/2 bath, and family room. Two separate decks can be accessed from the main level of the cabin. The loft level has a bunkroom with two sets of twin bunk beds, one bunk with a double and a twin, and a single twin. There are also two more bedrooms, 1 with a King and the other with a Queen and a single. One full bath is located on this level, as well as a daybed w/trundle and a second living area. On the lower level is the game room with air hockey, ping pong and foosball, a partial kitchen, second laundry room, a full bath and two more bedrooms - one with a King, the other with a Queen. There is also a sleeper sofa in the lower level. Weather permitting, RV parking and/or camping is available right below the lodge. A gas grill and two picnic tables are provided for outdoor dining. A large fire pit surrounded with tiered seating is the perfect place for evening sing-alongs or roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories. A truly beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded with trees and a creek providing the perfect place for a group getaway. **THIS UNIT MAY HAVE DIFFERENT MINIMUM NIGHT STAYS AND HOLIDAY/DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS FROM OTHER UNITS.**CONTACT THE OFFICE FOR RV AND CAMPING RATES.

| My only recommendation for this property is, especially for larger groups, to clearly define the property lines. It is very confusing to know where you can park and where you cannot. Also, the neighbor above us was very grumpy and complained that we were in her property. We had actually one time accidently walked up her drive as it looked like it could be part of the street. We tried to be repectful bet this neighboe seemed very unhappy that this cabin we were staying in was a rental and that a large group was staying there. |

| We had an overall good time. The air conditioners (very small)were not working, we did get it to run a little after cleaning it out, there were nails sticking out of the stair carpeting which cut three of our family. The refrigerator did not keep anything cold, just cool. It has been more than a year now and I can't think of anything else, hopefully all those things have been taken care of. Oh, we left Sunday morning and the lady who came to clean didn't give us a chance to pack up, they just sort of pushed us out, we were told we didn't have to rush as they didn't have anyone coming in that day anyway. I understand the cleaner wanted to get it done, but... Otherwise the heat was the biggest problem. |

| This cabin needs to be updated - new fridges that keep food cold and frozen. The carpet was filthy and we had several babies crawling on it. Some furniture seemed old and on the verge of falling apart. It did sleep everyone and the scenery was beautiful. The preparation table in the kitchen worked nicely. This cabin may work great for others; it just did not meet our expectations. |

| We had our family reunion at this home, and everyone had a GREAT time! The facilities are perfect for the whole family, young and old included. It does NOT have air conditioning, however, so keep that in mind when scheduling. |
