| We reserved The Lodges at Burgess Creek - sight unseen - to house family for our son's wedding. Our daughter and (at the time) future daughter-in-law visited The Lodge months before the wedding and returned wide-eyed and excited. When we arrived we were not disappointed.During our stay, we were home base to the 40+ wedding guests for communal dinners and cozy post-ski naps. Beds were so comfortable no one wanted to get up in the mornings. Kitchen was so sufficiently well-appointed that our restaurant-owner friend felt right at home. The downstairs apartment was perfect for our (also newly) married daughter and her husband. We can't say enough about how wonderful The Lodge was! |
