Great Big Bear Getaway |

| I planned the weekend for my husbands birthday. We went with another couple. The location of the cabin was great. It backed right up to Bear Mountain slopes. We walked to the slopes through the backyard of the cabin. The cabin has a spa in the backyard. The weather was great. Its snowed all weekend. The cabin was recently upgraded. The cabin was clean. There was a flat screen TV and DV player. There was no radio or CD player, but we played out cds in the dvd player. The only negative was that there could be a lot of parking but tons of snow was covering the driveway. My husband spend a few hours removing snow so that we could easily fit three cars. We had a great weekend. I am planning on booking this cabin again. |

Great Rental for Snow Fun! |

My wife and three kids rented this unit for three nights after Christmas. There was a ton of snow and that complicated the parking out front as there was only enough room for barely two vehicles. Luckily that was all that was at the location between both the upstairs and downstairs tenants.
The backyard butts right up to the Big Bear Ski Resort which was a ton of fun to watch all the action going on. We were able to do a little sledding in the backyard as well. I dug out the hot tub and we all had a blast soaking and watching skiers and snow boarders.
The inside was very nice and really well furnished. Big Screen TV, All new appliances, and a washer/dryer stacked unit. We brought firewood and enjoyed a cozy fire each night we were there. All in all a nice location, nice amenities, and an overall great time.
We will try to get this unit again in the future for sure. |

The house was cozy and perfect. Located perfectly, we never had to
drive a car since we just walked through the backyard to reach Bear
Mountain. I am pretty sure I will rent this house again come winter
2009! |

| We rented this duplex over Thanksgiving weekend, hoping for snow - no luck. But, we had a wonderful time and the house was great. The ski slopes are in the backyard! The house has everything you need especially the washer and dryer. We are planning a trip back as soon as snow hits! |

Skiing with the Kiddos |

| My husband and I decided to take our three kids skiing for the first time. We picked a long weekend so it wouldn't be too long or too short for the kiddos. When we opened the door, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside. The ski slopes were right outside the back door. It was exciting. We choose this particular condo because of the ski slopes being so close. We didn't have to worry about finding parking at the slopes. Our children ranged from 9 years old to a little over 18 months old. My husband and I knew that we would have to take turns on the slopes. Since cellphone coverage is not the best in the mountains we knew all we had to do was walk to the condo in order to cordinate and communicate. Another advantage was that we were able to share meals at the condo which in turn helped us save money too. We brought our own food so our hungry little kiddos always had food available. It was a great first time skiing experience for the whole family. We should also add that having a washer and dryer REALLY HELPED our young family! |
