Vacation Rental Description
Bear Tracks Bungalow is an awesome two bedroom two bath log home that located in lower Moonridge. It’s amazing just how many amenities you can fit in this adorable house! Bear Tracks Bungalow has cathedral ceilings with new log and mountain décor. Downstairs you can relax in the living room and watch a movie on the 37 inch flat screen TV with DVD player or enjoy some peace and quiet and enjoy the nice fire, no wood needed! This is a gas fire place. For the kids (or adults!) there is a great sit down video arcade game, with several games in one. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a washer and dryer for your convenience. The first bedroom is here with a queen size log bed and flat screen TV/DVD and a door to the back deck, where there is a great SPA!!! Upstairs is the roomy master bedrooms with a King size bed and flat screen TV/DVD. The yard is fully fenced perfect for a snow ball fight with the kids. Bear Tracks will welcome good pets. Wireless Internet is also available. Two night minimum.

The place was phenomenal, clean and so nicely decorated, the kitchen was one of the best assets of the cabin, I enjoy cooking in it, bedrooms are roomy and comfortable, I loved the huge windows and extra light in the place, I will definitely will come back to the very same cabin next time, the office service was exceptional as well.

Thank you. We enjoyed our visit. The unit was fine once we turned off the alarm on entry.....
We rented units from you about 7 or 8 times previously. The power went out in the night on our first night (someone hit a utility pole nearby) and we were unable to turn off gas/smoke alarms after the power was restored. May I ask property owners/management companies to leave instruction in their informatiopn booklet as to how to reset the alarms that are affected when there is a power outage. Also, upon registration remind us that there is a security alarm and where to find the alarm code. (We didn't know where it was and it took about 12 mins to silence the alarm. Once we called the rental office we had it off in 30 seconds). We've had more eventful vacations in the past so the alarms were no biggie. This property was fun, relaxing, and we enjoyed our time there.

| My family loved this cabin! Being there in person, the cabin looks better than it does in the pictures. It was really nicely decorated and we got everything we wanted and needed. The jacuzzi was nice and hot when we arrived. There were lots of games available. The kitchen had EVERYTHING. It really seemed like the nicest cabin in the area. Just stunning. Our only issue was that the sheets in the downstairs bedroom didn't seem clean, but we had brought our own from home, so it wasn't a big issue. Overall, great cabin! We will definitely return. |

| This home was quite enjoyable. The living area is very spacious and the fireplace kept us really warm. The kitchen is beautiful but we found it hard to cook for five due to the limited pots and pans. There was no kitchen towels either so come prepared. The bedrooms were very roomy and the jacuzzi was great! |

| This is the most adorable cabin - we are repeat customers and love love love this place. So, I have no complaint about the house itself. My complaint is the fact that I have to take the trash with me when I check out, or face a $25 fine. This is ridiculous!! I have just have a great vacation, for which I paid a good chunk of change, and now I have to take out my trash! Come on - for the amount of money I have paid to stay here, I think the cleaning crew could take out the trash. Alas, here I have to sit with my trash in my lap, looking for the "Clean Bear" trash site. This fact alone will make me reconsider using this reservation service again. I know there are other companies that do not impose this ludicrous requirement. |

My Wife and I haven't had a vacation in 4 years. When we
began planning for our trip, we knew it had to really count.
We also had to include our 1 year old baby and our little dog,
so choices were slim. We found the Big Bear Vacations
website and selected the Bear Tracks Bungalow because it
seemed like the perfect blend between modern amenity
convenience and back woods log cabin experience. Boy did
we nail this one! We can't speak highly enough of this
property. It is nestled closely between two other rustic
properties, but in the off season no one was around. Our
baby had tons of room to crawl around downstairs, and our
dog really enjoyed the freedom to sit on the front porch or in
the back yard watching the squirrels. The property had
almost everything that we needed for a four day stay.
Everything was very clean and the whole house was
decorated with bear and moose details. Hot tub, gas
fireplace, and BBQ were all greatly appreciated. We were
thinking this would be an incredible spot to spend during the
holiday season. We think you'll love it. |

The Cabin was perfect I have no complaints about the Cabin. It had comfortable beds and sofas and was decorated adorable. Super nice kitchen and bathrooms, awesome sky lights and vaulted ceilings. Super cozy/comfortable feel inside.
The thing that was disappointing to me was it is EXTREMELY close to neighbors on both sides.
I live in the city so I really like the feeling of "getting away", this place is so close to the other houses you can hear everything. We also brought our dog with us and one of the neighbors had a aggressive dog, so when we would take our dog outside it would run up to the fence and bark all crazy. If the cabin was on another piece of land it would be the PERFECT get-away. Overall I greatly enjoyed my time but if you are looking for a "getting away" experience I don't think this cabin is the spot. |
