Vacation Rental Description
COWBOYS & INDIANS is located in the heart of Fox Farm between Bear Mountain and Snow Summit Ski Resorts and minutes from the lake or golf course. Beautifully decorated in a western theme, this 2325 square foot home sleeps eight. The open floor plan has a warm a cozy feeling. With a “Welcome Basket” and your first bundle of firewood, courtesy of the owners, you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. There is also a gorgeous stone fireplace to stay toasty and warm by. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops to make that perfect meal for your little Indians or Chiefs. The living room has comfortable clean furniture to relax on while you read one of the many magazines in the rack or watch a movie on the flat screen TV with DVD and stereo. You will also find an 8 ft pool table in the game room. The Master bedroom is located on the main floor and has a King size bed, TV, VCR and Master Bath. Downstairs there are two more bedrooms. The “Bunk House” has built in bunk beds and a queen sized bed, TV, VCR and DVD and the third bedroom has a King size bed. The two downstairs bedrooms share a “Jack & Jill” bathroom with a private sink in each bedroom. If you prefer, you can BBQ some steaks on the BBQ which is located on the deck. The deck offers plenty of privacy for a peaceful afternoon of relaxation or gazing at the evening stars. COWBOYS & INDIANS is definitely the best vacation destination to pick for your vacation.Sorry, NO PETS ALLOWED

The house was spacious and well equipped. It lacked a few amenities like Kleenex, and we ran out of the tiny box of Cascade for the dishwasher towards the end of the stay. We were beseiged by ants, but apparantly this is not uncommon.
We especially liked the pool table.
The property is not within walking distance to shopping or restaurants, so we had to drive everywhere.
The DVD player did not work, but the owner was very responsive in having it repaired, and she reimbursed us for the DVD's we rented from Blockbluster. Overall, I would recommend this property as a good place to stay. |

| The office people were very professional and pleasant to deal with. The cabin was a lot of fun and we had a great time. Overall , it was an exciting weekend in big bear and my family and I had a wonderful time. Thanks for everything. |

| We've stayed at several cabins in Big Bear over the past few years. This is one of the best we've stayed in. Great western theme without being too over the top. The house has great attention to detail throughout. The Fox Farm area is close to everything, so it's an ideal location. If you want a fun, Big quality stay in Big Bear, this is the place. |

| We had guests over for Christmas and were absolutely delighted to be able to invite them to this amazing retreat. For Far West fans, this home is a delight come true, for everyone else, it is an incredibly clean, cozy, uber-spacious cabin. The owners seem to really care and are gracious in their welcome. This is a gem of a retreat! We don't need to look anywhere else in the future, this is it! Thanks for an amazing four days! |

| For the past 15 years, we have celebrated our family reunion in Big Bear over Presidents' Weekend. This was the best rental we have experienced yet. Clean, comfortable, roomy, and "warmth in the walls". Great karma in house. The location is easy to get to and very close to the slopes. The welcome basket of goodies and bundle of firewood was a nice touch and appreciated. It was very, very cold. Not a single extra blanket or pillow to be found anywhere. That was the only disappointment. |

| We had a wonderful stay in Cowboys & Indians. It's close proximity to the main highway made it easy to get to town and also to the ski resorts. The house had a fun western theme throughout and nice open floor plan. The home was nicely furnished. Our teenagers loved the pool table. The large kitchen and dining room made cooking for a group very easy and enjoyable. We loved it and would definitely rent it again. Our only suggestion is that kitchen linens would be helpful. |

When we first walked in we were blown away by how gorgeous this house was. Well maintained, very clean, spacious enough for all 8 of us. The kitchen was new, all granite and had all the appliances and utensils we needed.
The kids loved the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms.
Highly recommend to anyone and have given it 5 stars because of the property.
But, the one thing that was not quite as good was the provisions made by the management company. Things that I would expect for the price (and we did go over New Year so it was more expensive) such as trash bags, paper towels etc. The first thing we did when we got there was to have to go out to the store to purchase enough trash bags etc for our stay as there was enough for only one day! Additionally you have to take your own trash bags out to a central location in Big Bear City for disposal. So be prepared.
Apart from that, a very enjoyable stay and we will be returning.
And yes... we did have pictures with the horse...

We loved the property and its location! The only minor issues were as follows:
No extra trash bags for the Kitchen, No extra papertowels, no kleenex at all in any of the bathrooms, so we had to buy all of these.
Also, the drive way was not cleaned properly so on our departure date we had a problem getting one of the 2 cars out. Because of this you could only fit 2 cars despite your site stating that it fits 3 and there is NO Street Parking. We had to pick up our friend who leaves in Big Bear every night so he could have dinner with us since there was no parking space.
