Vacation Rental Description
This is a beautiful, spacious and clean 2700 sq ft five bedroom and three bath home that backs up to the National Forest. The decorations and furnishings give the cabin a Big Bear mountain feeling. There is a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, great dining area, a den that is stocked with all kinds of fun games and interesting books for the adults and kids, 3 TVs/3DVDs/VCR, wireless internet, laundry, attached two car garage, basketball hoop and a huge back deck with wonderful outdoor spa, charcoal BBQ and patio furnishings. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a TV/DVD and bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, the 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed, the 4th has two twins and the 5th bedroom has a bunk set and another bunk set which has a full on the bottom and twin on top. The family room or den has TV/DVD/VCR and fun stuff for the kids to play or watch a movie. The house sits at the end of a quiet and secluded cul-de-sac that backs to the National Forest’s edge. Rockhaven is a great snow play house located a 1/2 mile from Bear Mountain, Animal Park or Golf Course. The cabin is a mile and a half to Snow Summit. Easy level parking and two car garage is included with the rental .Good pets are welcome but please No Smoking.

Nice place with great view out back |

We loved our stay for the weekend, as there were 11 of us but still had plenty of room. Great view of the forest out back, although alot of trees were cut down (to prevent forest fires, perhaps?). Lots of wildlife for the kids to look at, such as squirrels, birds, chipmunks, lizards (Western Skinks?), and even 2 racoons who live under the back porch.
Be aware that the racoons were VERY humanized. They had no fear of coming out from under the porch as soon as the sun went down. We were barbequing both nights, and they came out and hung around long enough to see that we weren't giving out any food. If you stay here, make sure you don't leave anything you don't want them to go through out.
Would have given this place 5 stars, except that all felt that there could have been nicer chairs on the deck, as time spent outside in the deck area was very important to us.
All in all a nice place to relax for a weekend. |

| This vacation home is live up with its name Rockhaven! it's nice and clean and ready for us when we arrived. The kitchen which has all the equipment for us to make our dinner there. The neighborhood seem very quiet but maybe because it's summer. Everything was great. We definitely will go back there again for longer stay. |

Great cabin with lots of open space for gatherings. Big living
room/kitchen area and a separate game room with TV. The spa and
back deck feature a great sitting area looking right into the forest.
We had a group of 12 people and we all fit very comfortably.
Everything is well kept. We'd definitely come back! You won't be
disappointed with this rental. |

| Rockhaven was one of the best cabins we have rented so far. The backyard opened up to pure forest with snow up over your waist. The kitchen was fully stocked and open for us to make our meals. The cabin was clean with enough room for our whole famliy and friends. My son even fed the squirrels out back with his hands. I would stay at Rockhaven again in a heartbeat. |

We came up with a group of people. We lucked out with getting tons
of snow and our kids had a BLAST!!!!! The only complaint was that the
hot tub did not work and someone came out to fix it and looked at it
for 5 minutes and said there was nothing they could do.
We were all looking forward to the hot tub.
Other than that, the trip was amazing!! Great house, Great people and
Great memories!! |

| We had a fun time in this spacious and well appointed house which is located in the forest and has lots of space and good facilities. Convenient to the ski area and with an ideal sledging slope outside the front door if there is snow. |

| We have rented numerous Big Bear houses in the last 10 years for our family snow vacations and Rockhaven is the best we have found---spacious, modern kitchen, cable TV/Internet, and the National Forest for a backyard. Hard to beat this place. |

| Rockhaven is a comfortable, well designed, and well kept rental property that can accommodate a large group. There are many beds in all sizes. There is one large living room with a game table, and a large family room with a TV; both rooms have wood burning stoves. Rockhaven is located on a quiet street with neighbors on both sides but the backyard is National Forest land. A beautiful hike waits right outside the back door. There is also a jacuzzi on the back deck. Rockhaven is the perfect place to have the perfect Big Bear vacation!! |

| House is nice, very big. Had some maintenance issues...leaking kitchen sink and water not working in bathroom. We are a Girl Scout troop with 13 women and girls so it posed a small problem. It was reported but no one ever got back to us. There is a hot tub we all enjoyed and the girls found fun, creative things to do in the woods behind the house. Lots of places to hike. Overall we had a great time. |

| This was a great cabin! It is very spacious, enough room for kids, teenagers, and adults to each have their own "space". It is in a great location- feels like your in the middle of the forest. Clean and kept in good condition. |

This was a very beautiful home.I did wish there was at least 1 bathtub though as we had 2 toddlers with our group.Nice and clean.Great great areas to congregate.
Nice quite neighborhood.
We recomend this for any group/family.
as an added fyi anyone having any type of breathing disabilities should be aware of the 7000+ altitude. |
