An Adequate Place to Stay if You Have a Dog |

First, I should say that I do think Carolina Mornings does a nice job of managing the place. They were helpful and courteous.
As for the property: my husband and I chose this location because it looked really attractive online and allowed dogs. While the pictures online aren't technically inaccurate, there is far less space around the home than the pictures suggest. For example, the "relaxing garden" is a bit of joke, especially since it was quite overgrown onto the deck which lead to many bees near the home--not exactly a relaxing place for someone who's allergic.
Similarly, while the inside technically matches the pictures, the pictures don't quite capture some of the dinginess of the inside. White chairs and couches are a poor choice for a place that allows dogs. Additionally, the rug felt quite damp when we arrived--not exactly something that is enjoyable.
Additionally, there are no instructions about what to do about garbage or recycling. We were there for a week, and generated more waste than the small garbage can in the kitchen could accommodate, but there were no instructions for what to do once the can was full. There were also no places to put dog waste if you didn't want to bring the bag into the kitchen, which we certainly didn't want to do!
Finally, the directions to Treetops don't specify that you will be essentially off-roading to get to the place. We missed the turn initially because the directions didn't indicate that we needed to go down this very narrow passageway onto a dirt road. Thank goodness we made it there before dark, or we never would have found our way.
However, all being said, Treetops is certainly not the worst place I've ever stayed. It was cute, in its own way, and if you want to feel as if you are quite secluded, it's a good choice. There's nothing inherently wrong with the place, but for the price I expected more cleanliness and just a pleasanter location. |

| Tree Tops was a very cozy cabin. Tastefully decorated and upgraded. This is dog friendly location, however, we found that it was a bit limited in how much the dogs could run outside. The deck was very nice, though. Although it rained during our entire trip, we really enjoyed the location, cabin and relaxation. I was especially impressed with the way Carolina Mornings provides customer service...they are top notch. |

This is a very peaceful and beautiful location with interesting decor and some very nice features. Carolina Mornings was especially helpful in taking care of various small problems, responding promptly (on a Sunday). Relaxing on the deck or next to the fire was a favorite activity. And the kitchen was well-appointed and great to have on vacation.
A great house and a beautiful location, BUT... a "guide" to the property would be useful (instead of wasting time searching for things or finding out that the phone was set on mute). Also, the decor needs to be updated a bit. Way too many dusty fake plants (that I hit my head on), and some of the furniture could be cleaned (who selected white in the first place). Finally, the deck is great, but most of the yard is overgrown and all that kiddy stuff is excessive. Plus the table, chairs and umbrella outside were in very poor condition. A lounge chair or two would have been welcome instead of a potting table, the slide and other kids' toys.
Having said that, this is a great location, lovely setting and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Would certainly work with Carolina Mornings again. |

We traveled with our two year old to TreeTops in May and had a fantastic stay.
It could be a romantic getaway place easily, but it also had toys and a slide
and things that completely thrilled my toddler. I couldn't believe we actually
managed to stay somewhere that didn't require compromise for any of us. It's
a very pleasant, lovely house without being stuffy at all. |

| I booked TreeTops as a birthday present for my husband. We wanted to stay somewhere that was near downtown Asheville, that was dog-friendly (we were planning on doing some hiking and wanted to bring along our two dogs), and that was nicer than just a cabin. TreeTops met all of my expectations. It was only a short drive from downtown, and it was a great place for the dogs. They enjoyed wandering around on the spacious deck, and we even arrived to find a few treats for them (and ourselves - a bottle of wine and chocolates!). The house itself didn't feel like a rental; it felt like home. Very cute, comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Asheville. |

| Our stay at Treetops was exactly what we were looking for...cozy, comfortable, easy, and relaxing. Though we were quietly nestled in the mountain tops, we were literally only 5 minutes away from all of the shopping and great food in downtown Asheville. I would recommend Treetops to ANYONE looking for an easy-going, romantic getaway. |

| We could not have better things to stay about this amazing little getaway home!!! The home is super comfortable and offers a nice, peaceful getaway from the noise and business of everyday life. The best part is that it is literally a 3-5 minute drive from the heart of Asheville, so you get the best of both worlds (nature and the city) during your stay here!! I highly recommend Tree Tops!!! |

This little round cottage was really quite surprising. The decor was very tasteful and we found that we wanted for nothing.
It is amazing how quickly you can get from a thriving downtown, such as Asheville, to a quite mountain retreat!
I would recommend this to all!

| Information listed at the web site was very accurate. The pictures depict it nicely. It is a very comfortable, charming home for 2-3 people. My daughter and I highly recommend this spot. Our one recommendation would be to arrive during day light as it is somewhat a challege navigating arrival. The directions provided were perfect but neglected to note that at the last turn at the fork in the road it becomes a dirt road. Knowing this ahead of time would not have deterred our stay. It is very close to downtown Ashville which makes it a great plus. |
