Vacation Rental Description
Mar Vista Grande is located in the famed Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, and overlooks one of the widest stretches of beach along South Carolina’s Grand Strand. This ocean-front corner unit is located on the south side of the building and views to the beach are available on the large balcony. This is a three-bedroom and three-bathroom condominium, and includes a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and washer & dryer. The maximum occupancy for this unit is 8 people, with the master furnishing a king-sized bed, a second room featuring a full-sized bed and the third bedroom housing two full-sized beds. There are multiple TVs and DVD players in the condominium, a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, and high speed internet access available at the breakfast bar area of the kitchen.All condominiums at the Mar Vista Grande are complemented by excellent amenities including a fitness center with gym-quality equipment, a business center for computer and printer use, and indoor and outdoor water features including pools, spas, a kiddie pool, and a lazy river. Relax at the indoor pool to the soothing waterfall of our mosaic water wall. Amenities also include WiFi internet access in common areas, high speed internet in each condominium, and a street-side common patio area furnished with tables and chairs for you to relax and enjoy the fresh air and view of Ocean Boulevard. The Mar Vista Grande is a non-smoking facility. Parking is available on garage floors underneath the building. The Ocean Resorts rental office is located on the fifth floor, and an experienced and dedicated staff will ensure your complete satisfaction with every aspect of your stay at the Mar Vista Grande.

Cleanliness - The room was not cleaned very well. |

| This was our 3rd year staying at the MarVista Grande and we usually loved it, but this year things were a little disappointing. We had issues with the fact that the room was not very clean. This had been a problem our first year there also and we did complain then. We loved the room, decor, and that fact that it was a corner unit, but there was a major amount of dirt and debris on the carpets and under beds, as well as a large amount of dust on all the furniture. The master bathroom was not clean nor could you see in any of the mirrors as there was a huge amount of film throughout the Condo. You also could not see out any of the windows leading out onto the balcony due the same film. The stove was filthy and was not cleaned at all. We ended up buying our own Windex and cleaning products to clean the room. We do understand that the units are used throughout the summer and will have wear and tear, but when you stay somewhere you should not have to clean the unit you stay in yourself, especially for the amount of money you spend to rent the unit. You expect it to at least be clean enough to stay and sleep. We did have this same issue the first year there and complained, but the cleaning person sent to re-clean the unit was in a hurry and again did not do it properly the 2nd time around; thus we opted to do it ourselves. We also had issues with the pools being cold. The indoor hot tub was unusable all but 1 day we were there and we were there for 7 nights. The water was only 70 degrees in the indoor hot tub and the outdoor hot tub on our 2nd day was shut down due to problems. The sliding doors to the pools were broken on 2 days and we noticed maintenance men sitting at the Tiki Bar or in the indoor pool area and nothing was being done to fix the problems. We also noticed a lot of teens coming in through the parking garage utilizing the pools. |

| What a beautiful condo #MV1213 was! This was the first time we stayed in a corner unit and we loved it so much that we hope to be able to rent unit #MV1213 again next year. The owners have exquisite taste and all of us felt very comfortable and at home there. |

| This condo unit is absolutely beautiful. The view of the beach/ocean from inside and outside the unit is wonderful!! Loved the wet bar; Nice feature! Would have liked to have a larger table on balcony. We like to eat our breakfast outside but only a little 'end table' available which didn't work. Negatives about the facility: 1) Parking for High Top Vans on first level was NOT ENFORCED!! Most nights at least 30 reg. sized sedans/minivans parked in hi-top spaces which limited our parking. We brought a hi-top van because facility could accommodate. Several nights had to park in "15 min. parking only". Front desk and Security guard informed however nothing changed during the week. There needs to be better enforcement and consequences for violators. 2) Disappointed in how the Lazy River was used. Too often kids jumping in, splashing, not riding in tubes. The Lazy River should be a relaxing retreat for adults and not a playground for kids. Other resorts have signs up that tubes MUST BE USED. This helps to eliminate horseplay. Also there shouldn't be horseplay in the hot tubs. Again certain anemities should be for adult use and not for children!! |

| Reservation staff was courteous and very helpful, quite accommodating of special requests also. The condo was spacious and beautifully decorated. Lots of privacy. Beach area was very nice and pools were great. Management staff was efficient and kind. Enjoyed our stay. |

We arrived to a beautiful condo (1213). Our 2 children (13 & 15) were very excited to have each their own bedroom w/bathroom. We had no issues checking in, finding a place to park in the parking garage or finding a baggage cart.
We found the unit to be clean and ready to relax. The pools were cleaned each morning and the beach was "raked" by the city each morning.North Myrtle Beach is a great family beach, uncrowded and quiet. The building was clean throughout. We have traveled to this area 4 of the last 7 years and to Florida the other 3, our family decide this was the best year thus far of all the years. We relaxed on the beach or near the pool during the day, and did the tourist thing in the evening. We have this unit on the top of our list for next year. We all hated to leave on Saturday morning. Do it!! Enjoy it !! You won't be sorry. |

| MY FAMILY AND I GO TO MYRTLE BEACH EVERY OTHER YEAR AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED AT. THE CONDO WE STAYED IN WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE SIZE OF THE POOLS AND HOT TUBS. EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL! WE WILL BE STAYING THERE IN THE YEARS TO COME NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! |

| We had a great vacation! We have stayed at another unit on this property before and really enjoy the building. The layout of the units are great and this was decorated beautifully! There is so much to do on the property and you are so close to the many activities Myrtle Beach offers. The staff is very nice and the areas are kept clean. We hope to spend many future vacations here! Enjoy :-) |
