Vacation Rental Description
MONDAY TO MONDAY RENTALS (7 NIGHTS) ARE REQUIRED DURING THE SUMMER RENTAL SEASON. THERE IS A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM LABOR DAY 2006 UNTIL PRE-MEMORIAL DAY 2007, EXCEPT FOR 3 NIGHT MINIMUMS, AT WEEKEND RATES, OVER HOLIDAYS. Our newest lakefront is presently being emptied of furniture and completely re-painted and thoroughly cleaned, then the antiques will be returned and new furniture added as needed. This classic Union Pier cottage sits on a magnificant double lot, private beach rights, wrap around enclosed porches on 3 sides and space for 9 people to spread out and enjoy the summer like it was always meant to be enjoyed, with family and friends!Parking for 4 cars.

| I was thrilled to arrive and find Belle Cottage was everything the online advertisement stated, and more! It was beautiful, clean, cozy. The beds were nice and comfortable, showers were clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice meal and there were plenty of rooms to chill out in! I'm going back there one day! |

| This was a GREAT week get away. I brought the entire family, my wife and my 10 month old daughter, the in-laws( mother, father,brother, and sister), a family friend and my wife's aunt and uncle. we all fit in the house with room to spare. We are cottage traditionalists and this was everything we were looking for. my daughter had a ball exploring all the nooks and crannies of the house. The private beach and the large yard gave us the freedom to let our daughter roam free and us the seclusion that we wanted. We are going back every year for at least a week. |

I like to rent a house which has some charm, has modern amenities
and which is right on the lake. This property was the best we have
stayed at so far. We have a specific purpose which is to get 2 or 3
families together and to have a great time. We could walk to the
Cafe in the mornings for pasty and coffee and we could also walk or
ride a bike to the market.
The property itself is really large and great if kids want to go out
and run around. We did have a bit of trouble keeping sand out of
the house despite our best efforts, but that was about our only
problem. There were lots of different areas of the house for people
to be in.
The layout was not what my husband, an architect, would disign,
but it functioned well for us and we have rented perhaps 10 other
houses. Most houses I like get torn down for monster Mcmansions
on the lake. I hope these owners keep this for a while so I can
keep coming. All around best charming house we have rented in
the area so far. If you like super-modern this is not for you. If you
like soul and woods and beach and personality, this is very nice. |

| Incredible property directly on the beach in ideally located town. Large deck overlooking the lake is a highlight. Cottage was vintage and "charming" and sat on a large, grassy property. Depending on what your family's needs are, this could fulfill all your Michigan vacation dreams or leave you slightly dissapointed. We have very young children (under 3) and due to naps, downtime, etc. were forced to spend more time in the cabin than we'd like to. So the vintage facilities, kitchen and dirt made us happy to leave after 6 nights. At one point our baby was crawling on the floor and came up with a face full of dust. I thought for the $$$$ we were paying, we deserved more than a spectacular sunset and it wouldn't have killed them to send over a cleaning service mid-week. We will be looking for a different property next year. |
