Vacation Rental Description
SATURDAY TO SATURDAYY (7 NIGHTS) ARE REQUIRED DURING THE SUMMER RENTAL SEASON. THERE IS A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM LABOR DAY 2007 UNTIL PRE-MEMORIAL DAY 2008, EXCEPT FOR 3 NIGHT MINIMUMS, AT WEEKEND RATES, OVER HOLIDAYS. The decor is in warm woods and relaxing hues that make it easy for you to unwind and forget the pile of mail you left behind. The home is set on a triple lot only a short walk to a private association beach on the shore of Lake Michigan. The owners took a page out of Pottery Barn and then added their personal touch to make sure you have comfortable furnishings and all the amenitiesyou desire for your stay. Interesting antique pieces, found at local haunts, accent the rooms and eclectic art pieces make the interior special. Forty-two windows bathe the home in light and when temperatures drop the wood burning fireplace can be stoked with the ample pile of wood made available to you. | We stayed at the White House for 9 days over Labor Day 2008. Loved the 4 bedrooms in the big house and lovely guest house. We slept 8 people comfortably. Very comfortable and attractively furnished. Kitchen was great with lots of dishes, nice big dining room table and smaller kitchen table. We used the deck a lot. Didn't use the separate screen porch-wish it was connected to the house. Nice big lawn which was great for the kids and lots of parking. It took 5-10 minutes to walk down the dirt road to the beautiful private beach. Strangely shaped bath tub/showers in both bathrooms in main house. Great location close to New Buffalo but quiet street. We would stay there again |

I love the beach |

| This was a fun house, needs some work, but you can tell they are in the process and it is going well. Spent a lot of time on the extra screened house at night playing games. The guest cottage was perfect for sleepy in-laws and other times for noisy girls. The beach isn't too far and it was perfect every day. Plenty of room for a couple of families. we had a great time there. It is a curious lay-out and we spent lots of time talking about how the house was originally laid out. Anyway it needs a little work but what house doesn't? Actually our other rentals in Unoin Pier were in perfect shape, but I'm sure this one will catch up. |

This was the best place we ever stayed in in Lower Michigan or all of Michigan for that matter.
Everything you need is here from coffee pot to beach chairs even plastic wrap and toliet paper.
The grounds were beautiful and the home was immaculate.
We would go again and again

Wonderful vacation family home |

| My family stayed in this home with two of my brothers and their families. Two of the nicest features of this property are the spacious yard and guest house, which is a large bedroom with a full bath and seating area. The house is extremely well-kept, beautifully furnished and yet comfortable for families with children of various ages. The walk to the beach on a stone drive is a little touch on little ones, but a wagon that is provided helps with that. All and all a great place! |
