| The place is well advertised, has a good location and has nice pictures. However, we were unaware that it was less like lodging and more like a home stay. There was no staff or lobby. The front desk was a real estate office. The building was for sale. Our room was clean but missing several light fixtures, there were unpainted drywall patches, exposed wires, and our french doors didn't lock and locals walk by to get to their homes. The hot tub had no privacy and, again, locals walk by often. It took a few days for all this to add up and hit me. I notified the staff and they were appreciative of the advice, but had excuses that didn't make anything better. |

Thank you for your review. TAL used to have their location in the same building as the Montana Placer Inn and has since moved to a Main Street location. This does give more privacy to guests staying in one of the 4 rooms that the Inn provides. Given that this property is centrally located to all the restraunts and shops in town, people are able to pass by. We apologize if there was any type of disruption. We will address the maintenace issues that you noted and make sure these are taken care of in a timely manner.
Thank you again and we hope that you use TAL when coming back to visit Historic Telluride Colorado. |

Beautiful room and space! |

| We had a fantastic time at Montana Placer Inn. The room was lovely with a large king bed, fireplace, mini-fridge, and balcony. We were right next to the hot tub which was nice too for the evening. Our bathroom was great with a ton of space and double sinks which were great too. The best part for a romantic getaway is that the inn was quiet and we didnt interact with other guests (which is what we wanted). The only downsides were that there is no on-site management (at least what we saw) and, while we didn't need it, it would have been good to have contact info readily available if needed. The other downside is that we thought breakfast was included but couldn't find where that was. |

| The room was very nice, plenty of space and a nice size bathroom. The hot tub smelled moldy so we didn't end up using it. Otherwise, we had a very good weekend stay. Great location. |

Great Location - Excellent Value |

My wife and I enjoyed staying at the Montana Placer Inn while in Telluride. The room was comfortable, with a king-size bed and full bathtub. The fireplace was a nice touch as was the sink and refrig. We appreciated the twin sinks in the bathroom. The location was terrific, one block from the Gondola and close to main street. Because we both like it cool at night we had to open the window to drop the temperature to around 62F. It also seemed the walls were a little thin as we could hear people talking outside and in other rooms. Not all the blinds worked either. Overall though, we received great value and I would recommend this facility!
Thanks for the "Friend of the family rate."
Regards,
Igor and Dawn Shpudejko |

| Found through VRBO. Room was perfect: comfortable bed, fireplace, huge bathroom, excellent daily maid service, close to gondola and restaurants. Issues: 1. personnel couldn't provide car parking information with certainty (this was important as there are signs everywhere stating if your car is parked illegally, it will be towed or ticketed). 2. There was a jacuzzi, but it was not maintained. We had to brush off a foot of snow ourselves, there was no chlorine in the water, and it needed about six inches of water added. |

During peak season town is packed with people. We do provide a parking space behind the unit which secures a spot for your vehical. Also this hot tub is maintained on a daily basis. Our apologies for not getting there prior to your arrival.
Thank you for your input, we value your feedback. |
