An intimate setting in the middle of town, the Montana Placer Inn offers deluxe rooms. This 2nd floor room has a king bed, gas fireplace, TV w/VCR, wet bar w/ mini-fridge, coffee maker, and toaster. The private bathroom has an old fashion shower/tub and hairdryer. The room also has a balcony and wireless internet. On the back patio is the common outdoor hot tub. There is limited on-site parking. It's less than a block to Gondola & Lift #8, and up one block to the Main Street of historic downtown Telluride.

It was perfect. Clean and fantastic location to everything. Great veiws. Only downside was a hottub that didn't work at the time.

| Staff not helful. Didn't seem interested in helping with any problems or making you welcome. Lights were not on when we arrived. Code to dooer was placed by feel. Not iinformed about the farmer's market so parking was a problem. Not informed breakfast not included. Place not well taken care of banister stairs loose and dangerous. Would not stay here again or recommend it. It was a great location, close to the gondolas. |

We have a great staff that will help with any problems and concerns, lights were not on when you arrived because we try to conserve energy, not sure what 'Code to dooer was placed by feel' means, the farmer's market is a bit of a clutter on Fridays and we can provide you with a parking permit on the side alleys, breakfast is not included because these are basic hotel rooms (we have plenty of B&B options), and I have passed along the banister issue to our property management department to be checked on immediately. Thanks again for your review and we hope to have you back in Telluride soon! |

Nice large clean room and bathroom and great value for money. Quiet location
yet only a couple of minutes stroll from the main street with grocery store
around the corner. Parking outside on the side street with permit given at
check-in.
Downsides: noisy fridge and luke warm 'hot' tub. |

Location is convenient to everything downtown and to the Palm. Parking instructions with the confirmation were not clear. No permit for street parking was included.
The entrance is not straight forward....took me a while to find it.
Room was pleasant and quiet. |

Montana Placer Inn was in the perfect location in Telluride. Two short blocks from Main St (Colorado Ave) and one block from the gondola to Mountain Village.
The room was basic but nice. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with a nice claw-foot tub.
The only drawback to the room was a lack of a few amenities. We received no housekeeping service during our stay and as such our one trash bin filled up and became a nuisance. Also, there were no lamps on the bedside tables which meant that one had to read by the light of the overhead lights which proved inconvenient for the sleeper. Also, the staff downstairs was quite unwelcoming and surly. Luckly there was little occasion to interact with them.
This being said, I didn't expect luxury for the deal that I got. $99 a night is a steal for this location. I'd stay here again. |

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay! We are happy that you likes the room - it is a great location right in town. As far as your comments regarding the room, we have forwarded them to our Housekeeping and Owner Services departments, so that they can be addressed properly.
I'm not sure why you didn't receive daily housekeeping during your stay. The Montana Placer Inn, along with our other hotel rooms, get a daily housekeeping, including emptying the trash bin. We apologize for any inconvenience due to this!
Please note that the staff downstairs from the Montana Placer Inn is not our rental office, but in fact a private business office.

| Awesome location. About a minute stroll to the gondola down the street. Bed is big and comfy. Room has microfridge with freezer compartment. Wine glasses, cork screw, dvd player, microwave, plates, etc. provided. Loved the heated bathroom floors. Welcome kit contained: Aleve, Alkaseltzer, Gatorade (powder form for on the go), nature valley snack bars, coffee, etc. Lotion & shampoo provided along with daily housekeeping service around 10am [when we were there]. Room uses code-entry, and you have to turn the lock (instead of the door handle) to open. Balcony had about 3-4 ft of snow, so we couldnt use it. View from balcony looks into a wall. ALl in all, excellent value. Would stay at again. |

| I really loved this room! The Placer Inn is the perfect location - 2 blocks to town, 1 block to the Gondola. The bed was super comfortable and the bath was my favorite. Double sinks and claw footed tub (with shower) made for the perfect stay for my husband and I. |
