On just over a quarter acre, this elegantly designed contemporary home offers over 3,300 square feet of spacious interior living with a captivating design. You will enjoy the outdoor spaces as well, including a swimming pool (For an additional $300 per week, the pool may be heated upon request) and extended deck and patio areas throughout.
Each of the four large bedrooms has a luxurious queen size bed. The kitchen has a dishwasher, self-cleaning oven-microwave, disposal, trash compactor, and a built-in counter top blender/food processor.
There are three exquisite bathrooms and the family room comes with a complete bar including sink, countertop blender/food processor, refrigerator, trash compactor and disposal.
The family room also has High-Definition TV and DVD player, AM/FM, Cassette and CD stereo, as well as high speed Internet DSL access. Wood flooring enhances the comfortable feel of the dining and kitchen areas and the entry and bathrooms are of marble tile.
All rooms have a plush carpet to give them a warm and inviting experience. Additionally, there is a washer/dryer for your convenience and a three-car garage to insure that you and your guests have a place to park – even in August, when Carmel is at its busiest!
Monthly rates include local phone service, cable TV, water, trash collection, and all related taxes, fees and move-out housekeeping. Monthly rates do not include gas and electricity.

| Had a lot of charm but we felt like nothing had been done since 1980; black bathroom fixtures, intercom system and central vac. But the views over looking the canyon were fantastic and the pool was a real treat. IT you have a group of folks staying there it is the perfect house because there are 3 floors of living space and everyone could spread out and not be on top of one another. Everything worked but the toilets are sensitive which they caution you about. I would definately recommend this property. |

We really enjoyed our stay here, we had just had a week of travelling and staying in different places so this was the perfect resting place. The house was very well laid out and very big, the pool was fantastic, ask for it heated though the weather can get a little chilly. The kids had hours of fun.
The house is very handy for Carmel, we walked in alot, takes about 10 mins.
Only fault was no table to eat out by the pool just loungers.
Would highly recommend this house we had a great time. Have fun !! |

I rented this house for the week of my wedding for myself and six other friends and family.
This house is enormous. It has three floors the top floor consists of the master bedroom with private bath (separate tub and shower) and walk-in closet. The master bedroom had a balcony with a door to the garage so I could sneak in and out at my leisure. There were two additional bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom was a bit small with a tub/shower but both bedrooms have a vanity.
The middle floor is the entry level with the eat-in kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen is large and is fully stocked with plenty of glassware (two cupboards full of cups, wine glasses and Champaign flutes), flatware, bowls plates, etc. The dining room table can seat ten comfortably (there is a long bench seat which can seat five petit adults in a pinch). The family room has two large sofas, a chair and ottoman. There is no TV but plenty of room for four toddlers to run, scream and play. The front door opens to an open staircase with floor to ceiling picture window (the floor is the first floor’s floor and the ceiling is the third floor’s ceiling!). People who are on the deck or in the pool can see visitors entering and leaving through the picture window which is a lot of fun for everyone!!
The first/lower floor has one bedroom and a bathroom (also with a tub/shower). There is a large laundry room with an iron, ironing board, a counter long enough to sleep on, sink, and extra chairs and a couple of pool toys. There is a door from the laundry room to the bedroom – its great if you have kids who can be ushered in through the bedroom stripped in the laundry room and bathed in the bathroom next door without disturbing the adults in the living room. The living room on this floor has a built in bar. And by bar I mean a mini kitchen. There is a half size fridge, full size dish washer, trash compactor and built in blender. The bar is fully stoked with glasses and a great BBQ tool set. This room has a love seat recliner (both seats recline). The couch also has a seat that reclines and a recliner. There is a TV/entertainment center which is nice but the house is wired with an intercom/sound system which pipes music into all the room via the intercom and lets you know someone is at the gate. The control panel for this system is located in the dining room.
We had the pool heated and it was fun for everyone. And well worth the extra money…kids and grandparents swam until they were raisins. Michelle from the rental company was great. We had a few issues when we checked in to the house but she solved them for us within 24 hours. We must have called her at least a dozen times the first day and she was always helpful and pleasant.
Everyone who saw the house are thinking of renting it for their next family vacation. It is a very short drive from downtown and three garage spaces and one of the neighbors was kind enough to let us park in his driveway when we had family over!! Oh and he said the house was built by Bing Crosby for his sister and this is where he would come and hang out because his second wife did not want him drinking around the kids – not sure if it’s true but that’s what he told us. |

This is the second time our family spent a week in this spacious
house situated not to far from Ocean Ave.
We loved the pool and the grounds. Plenty of space and
separation for a family of 6 to 7 people.
Wish there was a bathroom on the middle floor but still not a
big deal to get to the ones upstairs and the one downstairs.
