Nice quiet street, adequate for our needs |

This property was ideal for the one month stay we had in Pacific Grove. It is
a short 5 minute walk to the centre of PG, and only a little more than that
down the hill to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
The house is comfortably fitted-out, with a sitting room, dining area and
kitchen on the ground floor open-plan, and at the back a small laundry
room and toilet with walk-in shower. There is a double garage but parking
space for two cars in front of the garage is most convenient. Upstairs there
is a landing area with sofa, table, and a work desk. Both of the bedrooms
are well-sized and have large walk-in closets. One has an en-suite
bathroom and the other used a bathroom along the landing.
All the rooms are bright and airy. The only comment I would make is that
the kitchen needs renovating. The over/hob is (very?) old, and there is a
poor selection of utensils, pots, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The fridge
and microwave are ok. Also, the ironing board is of poor quality.
Being a rental-home owner myself, I would say that for the price this
property is good. Nothing fancy - TVs are old but there is cable, there is
high-speed internet but it is not wireless. If I was in the area again for an
extended stay I would probably return to this property although hopefully
by then the issues in the kitchen would have been rectified.
To sum up, I liked the location, peace and quiet, ease with which the house
could be kept clean, the bright and airy ambience, but on the other side of
the coin the kitchen....
The Monterey Bay rental company was a pleasure to deal with, efficient and
quick to respond. I have recommended them to others and will use them
again when the need arises.
