Vacation Rental Description
The accommodations at Lover’s Point Place are the ultimate bay-view getaway for your stay on the Monterey Peninsula! Views of Monterey Bay and Lover’s Point Park, a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike, will captivate you! Most who enter these lovely residences for the first time are rendered speechless.
Once the realization that they are not looking at a postcard sets in, guests at Lover’s Point Place find the interiors of these residences to be comfortably and tastefully appointed with thoughtful attention to detail. The open floor plans of approximately 1000 square feet will accommodate you and up to three of your family and friends in one of two plans – a townhouse style or a flat.
The townhouse style dwellings feature exterior stairs to the second level of the three-level building, entry into the living area, a half-bath on the living area, and two bedrooms and a full bath downstairs on the ground level.
The townhouses have a deck off of the living area that overlooks Lover’s Point Park and the Monterey Bay. The flats are accessed via exterior stairs to the third (top) level of the building and living areas, two bedrooms, and a full bath, all on one level. The flats have decks off of both the living area and master bedroom which, like the townhouses, overlook Lover’s Point and the Monterey Bay.
Cable television service with DVD player is provided, as is high speed internet access. Bedrooms are furnished with king, queen or trundle beds (ask the reservation agent for the accommodations that meet your needs) flanked by reading lamps (for when you have torn yourself away from the view and just can’t put that book down!), a clock radio and local telephone service, as well as cable television on flat screen TVs. The bath is equipped with a granite vanity with dual sinks and a shower over tub.
A GE Space Maker front-loading washer and gas dryer is available in each accommodation for your convenience. Carport parking behind a security gate is conveniently located to the entrances to both the townhouses and the flats.
The climate in Pacific Grove never gets warm enough to warrant air conditioning, and the ocean-facing sliding glass doors invite in the refreshing ocean breezes. Forced air natural gas furnaces provide heat during the few days per year that you may want it.

Because we lived in Monterey the first year we were married, this location holds a special place in our hearts. To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary we decided to stay in Monterey for a month. The condo on Ocean Avenue was perfect. Other than the noisy and busy street, the location was perfect. We took our morning walks each day on the trail overlooking Monterey Bay. We were able to walk to Fisherman's Wharf daily, and have coffee in Pacific Grove at any number of coffee shops or restaurants. The weekly Farmer's Market in Monterey was wonderful with the great selection of fresh produce.
We suggest that you consider that there is a 3-day Triathlon mid-September with the finish line immediately in front of the condo. With microphones and loud speakers, we were awoken early on a daily basis during the event. Many athletes as well as curious visitors clogged the streets which made it hard to maneuver. Because Ocean Avenue is a busy street, it is noisy with a lot of traffic.
The condo was clean and nicely decorated. There is no need to bring extra towels as there were enough. We did have to buy sharp knives as those in the condo we very dull.
All in all, with the fabulous views and easy access to Pacific Grove and Monterey, we were quite pleased with the property. The on-site parking was a bonus. |
