This beautifully decorated four bedroom, four bath chalet is perfect for couples on holiday. The chalet has three levels. The lower level has a mud room entry that opens to pine paneled game room equipped with pool table, CD stereo, and television. This is a fun area away from the main living area for guests to enjoy a game of pool while watching sports on television. Off of the game room are two bedrooms, each with queen beds that share one bath. The living room area and kitchen are on the second floor. The well-equipped, spacious kitchen opens to dining and living room area. The living room has a gas-log fireplace, television and DVD player, stereo, and comfortable seating. This level has lovely views of mountains, trees, and filtered lake view. Third level has two bedrooms, each with queen beds, small televisions, and their own separate baths. Conveniently located next to community amenities. Sleeper sofa in living area. Washer dryer, parking for two cars with adjacent overflow parking. Maximum occupancy 10 guests.

| Overall very pleased, but some maintenance & repairs needed. Toilet paper holder in downstairs bathroom fell apart, downstairs bedroom closet door off track, upstairs bathroom faucet leaks, some light bulbs need replacing, washer door needs alignment, could not get pool/hot tub gate key to work (had to climb over the fence to open from inside), unit needs a can opener, wireless internet worked only sporadically, long matches needed for fireplace. On the plus side ... great location, good space for our group of 7, comfortable beds, nice pool table, sufficient hot water, all appliances seemed to be in good working order. |

| The steel posts marking the driveway locations are dangerous and damaging to vehicles. Black, can't be seen at night. When covered with snow presents an obstacle where none is expected. |

| Electrical capacity poor - heating through out unit poor - furnishings like lampshades very old and worn - kitchen cabinets not aligned - overall very disappointing stay - should not have too work so hard to be provided a comfortable stay. Had to go out and buy two efficient space heaters to warm the lower leve. upper level wall heating units barely worked. Will not recommend nor use again |

| During this guests 3 day stay, per their request, we sent out the heating technician twice and the electrician once. Each time the heating technician found the heat operating at 70 He also confirmed that the ceiling vents in the downstairs bedrooms were properly operating. The added heaters for the downstairs area were both set on HIGH (a large electric draw) instead of medium causing an overload to the otherwise normal circuits. We did take his concerns seriously, addressed them quickly and responsibly. |

| Overall - another great stay! The property is starting to show some wear and tear, the DVD doesn't work, the kitchen counter has broken tile, the carpets need a thorough cleaning, broken toilet seat. We will definitely be back - I think it has been 7 years in a row for Thanksgiving - but would love to see some upgrades that should be included in the price. Thanks again!! |

The location is very close to entertainment, groceries, restaurants, and lake activities.
Our family will not be coming anually to this location because the expense to flly all members to Reno is an issue. We hope to come again in another year or so. |

| The kitchen wasn't well equiped. there was a worn out rug with curling edges we kept tripping over. The garage was converted to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The addition looked and felt like a garage. We needed a large cabin, but was unable to utilize the area.We were there the week the fire broke out. We had to leave a day early and was told I would get a refund for one day. It never happened.We left due to lack of things to do. Many attractions were closed. We would have stayed if we could have used the pool and hot tub, but people were climbing the fence to use the pool and hot tub.We witnessed some illegal activity by these people but decided not to call police.The location of the cabin would have given us away. |

| Wonderful accommodations! My family had a splendid time. Blocks away from Heavenely ski resort and minutes from other attractions. Beautifully furnished, spacious and included nice pool table; with access to the community pool/hot tub just located in your backyard. Extra parking is available right next door which offers more convenience. |

| Tahoe Tyrol Chalet was a great place to stay! Four Bedrooms, and more importantly four bathrooms, let even a large group relax and not worry about morning logistics. After short drive you're either skiing Heavenly or enjoying the casinos. At night, the fireplace keeps everyone warm, the pool table keeps everyone entertained, and the large living space lets everyone relax. |

| My friends and I stayed at the Tahoe Tyrol Chalet in South Lake Tahoe for five days. We were there for the Lake Tahoe Triple Marathon and found this to be a convenient place to stay for all of our commuting needs back and forth for each race day, and for the race expo and dinner. We wanted to stay in a chalet so that we could have separate rooms and a kitchen: we didn't want to climbing over each other in a hotel room after a marathon (or three!) or eating out for all meals. The only downside was the amount of garbage we accumulated (5 people for 5 days) but weren't able to dispose of because there's only garbage pick up 1x/week and there's nowhere in the house to store lots of garbage (can't put outside because of the bears). The chalet was in great shape and the only repair needed to be done is to the living room carpet, which seems to have lifted in a couple of places. Definitely a good place to stay. |
